slide maintanace
have 2 slides on my Coachman leprechaun. I have seen slide spray to keep the slide running smoother as well was spray for the seals. Are all of these actually needed or are they just marketing sales tactics.

door seals
While out last week an "old timer" camper said only way to protect and keep the seals around doors and windows fresh is to wipe with olive oil and let dry before closing door. Has anyone done this and does it work?

Hand wash
Bought new class c last fall. Had it washed at truck wash but want to wash at home. Retired so time is not issue but confused by all the products out there. Suggestions on how to and products appreciated.

help in deciding A or C motorhome
Just retired and plan on getting small motor home. Use will be travel on what we call "back roads". I E route 66 route 30 etc. Do not plan on spending more than a few days at any one location, but want to travel to all 48 lower states and fish along the way. We see advantages to both A and C units. Any help by those who travel as we plan to would be appreciated.
