I was just out looking at the RV thinking about where best to mount a PVC tube and I wondered if underneath would make more sense than on the bumper. A tub may work also, i need to figure out with my current tubs in the storage compartment what could fit. I have used my Tetris skills from my youth to figure out an optimum storage bin setup for both storage compartments... :)New 4" heavy duty bumper cannot fit Rhino drain hose insideWe recently had a new 4" heavy duty bumper fabricated and welded to the frame by a local RV dealer. The thicker steel has caused our Rhino drain hose to not fit inside due to having slightly smaller inside dimensions than the standard bumper. I saw a few videos on YouTube where some recommended using a Dremel to slowly grind down the high spots on the Rhino fittings until it fits which seems like a sewage spill waiting to happen someday with thinner hose fittings. Is that the only way or are there hoses out there designed to fit a smaller inside bumper dimension? I should also note, i am hoping to avoid a separate PVC pipe attached to the bumper, i see some RV's with that also which may be partially due to this same issue, not sure. Thanks!Curt TruTrack - grease bar hangers? Is it common practice or even recommended to put a bit of lubricant on the bar hangers for the Curt TruTrack WD hitch? Two camping trips so far, both within a couple hours of our house and there is already clear signs of friction and rubbing both on the bracket and the bar. I read a few articles that suggest friction is not a key part of the sway control so it makes me wonder if putting a bit of lubricant on those brackets would help with the occasional popping and friction related wear and tear. Thanks!Shower Faucet leak?I replaced the shower faucet in our Jayco camper trailer and it all works great other than the connection that the shower wand connects to leaks every time we turn the shower off. It is not coming from the threads but from a little hole underneath that connection and seems to be by design. Is there a way to not have that leak out each time or a specific shower faucet we should replace it with to avoid this leak? Our faucet is not mounted within a shower enclosure but on the bathroom sink cabinet next to the shower area so this leak is dripping down the cabinet and into the shower base area. I assume normally this is probably within the shower enclosure so not a big deal. Thanks!
