ThanksRe: Norcold Class Action Lawsuit FormsFirst let me say thanks for all the help, was able to print out the form without a problem. You guys come through again, ThanksNorcold Class Action Lawsuit FormsI received a post card informing me that a settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit involving Norcold 1200, or N6 series refrigerator. It give a phone number and a web site, and states that a claims form must be filed. I tried the web site and was able to bring up 70+ pages of everything but the claim form. I then tried the phone number and none of the choices directing me to the claims forms. Does anyone know where I can obtain a form. This all comes on the heels of us returning home from a trip and having our refrigerator die on our last day out. All of this after having the recall "taken care of" on three separate occasions due to faulty replacement modules. This will be the fourth attempt at having them fix a problem that they should have corrected years ago. Thanks for any help you can provide in directing me to these {forms}Re: Wandering around North Carolina et alCheck out the web site for Apple Valley Farms. Don't know what you are looking for, but we enjoyed a stay there. Off the beaten path, but pretty and quite.Re: Rest Stop ShenanigansThis scam has been around for a long time and is pretty common along the interststes. # 1. Don't get out of your coach. # 2. Call the police and give them a discription of the guy and the truck and then leave. No good can come from interacting with these people. Safe travels.Adjusting Door Latches of 2006 HRI have seen several mentions of adjusting the entrance door latches on HR coaches, but I have not been able to make any adjustment that helped my problem of noise come from the top of the door and the difficultly of opening the door. I am concerned that I am going to break off part of the handle and be in real trouble. Does anyone know of a site that would give step by step instruction, photos would help. ThanksRe: Wobbly Front seat?I haven't seen any mention of a cotter pin. My front seats have a cotter pin that keeps the nut from turning once you tighten it down. You might want to check and see if one is used on your seat.Re: Norcold 1200LRThanks Guys, The magnet didn't do the trick, I guess I have one of the older boxes. The power in wire is red and the power out wire is blue, I disconnected both wires, unplugged the blue wire from the fridge board and replaced it with the red wire, just like magic, I now have power. I don't intend to run it this was, but at least I know what the problem is and can have the box replaced. Thanks for the help.Norcold 1200LRI have become a victim of Murphy's Law. We are have been getting ready to leave to head South, we ususally turn on the fridge, a day or so befor we leave. We don’t have electric where we store the motorhome so the fridge if not running while parked. The last time the fridge was on was in September, and it worked fine, today I attempted to turn it on and I get nothing. No power, the light doesn’t even come on. I checked the 12 volt fuse, checked the breaker and tested the outside electric outlets. I have power to both outlets, but none to the fridge. I have had the recalls done over the years and during one of the recall, a small box with 5 wires was installed. After the installation, the fridge ran for a day and then quite. I called the place that did the recall and they told me to jump two wires so that I could get it running temper airily, until the unit they installed could be replaced. This was several years ago and the trick worked until I could get the unit replaced. The problem is I lost my notes and can not remember what to wires to jump. We are leaving Friday and I would like to get it running until I can get to an RV repair shop. I don't know if this is the problem or not, but I figured I'd try it. Anyone have any suggestions.Re: Hope this wasn't YOUR slide-out!I had a rear slide on the curb side go out as I was approaching a toll booth, never heard a sound. If I hadn't checked my mirrors, I would have bee in a world of hurt.
