For the shower hole it is only because of the Ptrap, nothing coming out of it. To access under the shower I have about a 3”x8” panel on the inside. I didn’t find nests in there, but see lots of evidence of mice. The gray water drain goes out the side of the shower on the inside of the trailer and connects to the kitchen drain. So the mice follow the pipe through the shower, under the bathroom sink, and through that wall under the refrigerator, stove, and kitchen sink. I wonder if we could just use plywood or another material to make a pyramid shape to screw to the subfloor underneath. Then it would be tight and could be removed if needed.Hole under shower and miceHow have you closed up the giant hole under the shower to prevent mice? I can’t believe they cut such a large hole under the shower for the drain pipe. Due to mice, we started hunting for the entry points. I closed up the holes under the sink and stove with spray foam and steel wool. We still had mice though. So I opened up the shower compartment to find a hole at least 6”x6”. This is obviously too big for spray foam. It looks like they also cut big cuts into the sheeting that covers the underbelly and they tried to spray foam it shut, which obviously did not hold as it was just hanging down. Our TT is only 3 years old and does not travel much. It was storage to site for 3 years, less than a mile. This year we are seasonal. So has anyone closed this up? I was thinking of stapling some sort of wire mesh stuffed with steel wool around/ under the pipe and then spray foaming that. We have trapped probably 10 mice and tried poison. The poison caused the mice to crawl in the wall in one spot and die. Which now stinks something vicious.Re: Questions for new seasonal camperI was told not to leave the black and gray water valves open because if it gets blocked up downstream it can back up into your trailer. Aka poop river in your trailer. I used the rigid connector posted above for our pvc hookup. I don’t have any advice regarding the mowing as we have pea stone with no grass. I’m also in the northeast so we don’t have the sun and heat issues.Re: InsuranceThanks for the reply. I’m talking to my insurance company now, but it all gets so very confusing. So it is nice to get different experiences.InsuranceCan someone help me understand insurance. We have always been transient campers and would insure our travel trailer through our auto insurance. We are now going to become seasonal at one location. We were told to examine our coverage by the campground and make sure it reflected the change. My insurance company said that it would now be covered under our homeowners insurance. I am still confused though. Does that mean it would be covered with the homeowners policy as is or does it need to be added in. Also, since it won’t be towed or on the road and it is covered under homeowners, does that mean we don’t need the auto side now?Re: Legend Television bobndot wrote: K Charles wrote: The OP says the antenna works but not the other inputs. I don't know what's wrong but every answer so far is how to fix the antenna input. :h , then maybe the HDMI cable or the port is bad. This is why I think I must be missing something. There are two hdmi inputs. What are the chances that both are bad?Re: Legend Television K Charles wrote: The OP says the antenna works but not the other inputs. I don't know what's wrong but every answer so far is how to fix the antenna input. That is correct. We can play dvds through the Jensen stereo and it shows up on the tv. The antenna and cable also works fine. I just can't get the HDMI inputs to work. Lol, you might laugh but we want to be able to play the Nintendo NES classic old school Mario Brothers on rainy days. Even when I have tried hooking it up to an Apple TV, external blu ray player, etc it doesn't work. I have tried every input option as well. We won't be back up to where we have it stored until Thursday. I'm trying to decide if it is just a crappy tv and I should replace it or I'm not pressing the right buttons. We have a coachman Catalina 303fqb but I'm pretty sure they have the same tv in lots of TT.Legend TelevisionWe have a Legend brand TV in our travel trailer. It is only 3 years old but we have never been able to get any of the inputs to work besides playing a DVD through the Jensen stereo or tv channels through the antenna. When I plug an HDMI in it says no signal for both inputs. Also, originally the inputs were all named wrong. I fixed this though. Has anyone else had this issue with HDMI inputs not working? We were going to replace it, but I figured I would ask first.Re: Looking for TT with rear bedroomWe have owned two rear bedroom. You need to post more details of what you are looking for. Bunks, length, etc. We had a cruiser viewfinder 24sd. Loved it, but needed one with bunks. Now we have a coachman Catalina 303fqb with a bunk house. It is very very nice. Has 2 slides and a full bathroom with normal shower (not tub like shower).Re: Stop the shaking!Yes, we store our TT about 2 hours from home and usually camp within a 30 mile radius of where it is stored. So each time is a new setup. I am thinking those JT Strongarm stabilizers may be worth the money. I might start with just trying the xchocks and seeing if that does enough.
