All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsIt's A Sad DayWe have been RVing for some 30 plus years. Starting with a 19ft. TT, then to a 26ft. TT, a 35ft 5th Wheel, back to a 22ft. TT and today the 22 footer will be leaving the driveway with a new owner. Thank you all for the questions answered and the suggestions you have let me post, I will be lurking and checking up on you all, but looks like our RVing days are over. Age has finally caught up with us and giving it up for the safety of ourselves and others. Hope all of you have as much fun as we have had traveling these United States and Mexico, memories made and friends made in our travels. It's a sad day to say the least knowing that another phase of our life has ended and new one has begun. Have fun that is what it is all about, we sure did!!Re: How to get rid of spoiled food smell?Try vanilla the real stuff, worked on a home freezer that went down on us when on the road.Re: My Summer ProjectTo nice now to take hunting!! Great job!!Re: So. AZ. Mexican FoodWe have found when we were traveling that asking a local, hardware store personal, shop owner, etc. where they would go usually gets you to the best places. Good luck!!Re: Seriously... who calls it glamping?Google Glamping Trailers and you will learn all you want to know about glamping. The ladies that do the glamping have a lot of fun with the older model trailers, instead of sending them to the dump they are completely redone from top to bottom, some done by the women and some have help from the other half. They have fun with their projects, and keeps them out of the bars.Re: So. AZ. Mexican FoodTry Wisdom's in Carmen,Az south of Tubac,Az. Favorite of the locals from Green Valley and South areas. Go into Nogales,Az, follow Grand Ave. keep your eyes peeled and look for Mom and Pop cafes and food carts along the way. Like many have said true Mexican food is rather bland or seems to be in this area. Tastes need to be adapted to the area you are in. We have learned to enjoy all of the different tastes of Mexican food in all of the different areas. But mostly, we enjoy the Mexican people, they are what makes the food so good.. Carolyn posting from Tubac, AzPaneling replacement. We had water damage to our TT, leaking window, and now need to replace the interior paneling. What is the best paneling to use. We tried a Plas-Tex adhering it with liquid nails and it would not hold. So new paneling is in order. Will only take 2 sheets, with left overs, but the dilemma is what product do we us for such a replacement. Thank you for an advice for two very unhandy people. Carolyn McMillin
