I was on a really unlevel site. I ran it up manually with cordless drill. It took forever! Then i disconnected the hall effect sensor and tried run jack so it would put out an error message. Then i could retract it as the above post says. The lippert tech guy was very helpful. I'm going to pick more level dites from now on.Re: Gutter for Sewer HoseWhat i use are metal 2x4's. Same size as the wood ones but c shaped. Most lumber yards have it. The hose fits in it well. Nice thing about it is that it will fit in the same square tube as your hose. I am use using the metal that goes on the ground and the top of the metal 2x4s. They are just slightly bigger than the vertical pieces. I also used them but they wouldn't fit in the storage tube with my rhino Hose. I am building some adjustable stands, but havent finished them yet.right now i just set the channel on firewood, boxes or whatever fits.Re: Honey wagon storageI like bal spare tire holder. I think that will do the trick. As a previous post mentioned, it never hardly gets used but it is a life saver when you read it.Honey wagon storageRight now i am keeping our honey wagon in our front compartment on our fifth wheel which takes up quite a bit of the available storage space. I see a lot of units with them strapped on ladders but dont want that.(wife) I'm looking at the rear area between bumper and rear axle. It seems like something could be connected to the exposed frame rail that hinges on one side and unhooks on the other. Anybody seen anything like that? Im sure it would catch a lot of air back there so need to be able to secure it, and not worry about losing it.maybe use 1" square tubing or 1" emf steel conduit. Any ideas out there?Re: Travel Trailer or Fifth Wheel? We got our first fifth wheel a couple of years ago. We have a half towable one Durango 1500. Our 3 previous one were travel trailers The fifth wheel is best my reasons are Better pulling on windy days Better gas milage because the unit is more stabile More storage. I am running a gooseneck hitch with a reese goosebox.
