On the beach or walking distance to beach. Need full hookups for travel trailer. We have been wintering in Arizona for past 7 years and looking for a new winter destination. Any suggestions appreciated.Re: Dark particles from hot water heaterAfter some sluthing, I have found the cause. I realized that this problem started when I replaced the pressure regulator for the water supply. As stated, the debris was not present with cold water or at any other faucet. The black debris was also not present with a low flow with the hot water. I removed the spray head from the supply hose and turned the water on full. Large amounts of black material came from the hose. I found that the hose connecting the faucet base to the spray head is comming apart. The extra pressure from the pressure regulator change started the breakdown of the hose. (the new pressure regulator changed the water pressure from 30 to 50 psi) New parts on the way.Re: Dark particles from hot water heaterAfter water warmed up, the particles came back. Go figure.....Re: Dark particles from hot water heaterUpdate on water. After a little investigation, I found that the only place the black particles showed up was from the kitchen faucet, not the bath, or outside shower or inside shower. 4 hours ago I turned the water heater off. Now I see very few particles from the kitchen faucet on the hot water side. I dismantled the faucet and found no problems. Crazy that the particles show up on the hot water side of the kitched when warm and not when cooled off. I will fire up the heater again and see if they return. As always, any help is appreciated. ThanksDark particles from hot water heaterNoticed small dark particles in the hot side of the faucet. No particles on the cold side. Water is filtered before entering the trailer. Removed anode rod from water heater and flushed tank. Good for one day then the particles returned this morning. I have a steel tank in a 2007 Komfort travel trailer. Anode rod is in good condition. Any input is appreciated. ThanksRe: Bolt comming up through floor and carpetThanks for the information. Might go ahead and cut the carpet tomorrow. Worse case is that I am closer to laminate flooring.Re: Bolt comming up through floor and carpetIt seems to me to be the head of a carriage bolt. Tried to pound down but won't budge. No water damage or soft wood. I may try to drop the tank a little to see more.Bolt comming up through floor and carpetI have a 2007 Komfort travel trailer. On our trip south I noticed a bump in the carpet. The bump has grown to about 3/16" and is pushing the carpet up. It feels like a bolt head. It is located center left and right and just behind the rear axel. I hate to cut carpet to find out what it is and the tank is in the way of seeing anything from under under the trailer. Any ideas or thoughts on this issue? Thanks in advanceHwy 64 from Cameron AZ to Tusayan AZMaking our way south from Oregon at the end of October and will be visiting the Grand Canyon. We will be headed to Tusayan from Cameron on 64 and will be pulling a 30 foot travel trailer. Will this road (hwy 64) accomodate larger RVs? Wanted to get to Grand Canyon camper village. Any help is appreciated. Thank youcampgrounds around Zion national parkWe will be in Zion national park sometime around the 25th of March and are wondering about campgrounds either inside the park or nearby.
