I did care for them well, and my last set of Costco Batteries lasted 7 years.Re: Sanitizing Fresh Water Tankgbopp and mbopp in same thread?!?!Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Maybe a better source.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012 nadkaw1957 wrote: Where did you get your information, dirtengineer? Everything I've read says the bladder pressure should be at or just below the operating pressure of the system and that a too low pressure will shorten the life of the bladder. Now I'm confused... I think that is correct for a thermal expansion tank, but that is not the purpose of tanks in this situation. These are to regulate the pressure and reduce cycling like a well pressure tank. Here is one source, look at page 3 It is a rule of thumb. If you google "well pressure tank settings" or " 2 psi cut in" you will get a ton of hits.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012It should be 2 psi below your cut in pressure - that is the pressure where the pump turns on, not off. If that is a Shurflo 2088, then you should set the pressure at 23 PSI. Having the pressure set too high will reduce the volume of water that the accumulator holds and lower the overall performance.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Should be 2 PSI lower than the cut in pressure on your pump. Make sure you adjust it when it is not charged with water.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012 Jeffzee160 wrote: I got a package of Lynx leveler blocks and a Lynx chock. I made the system a bit more versatile by cutting one of the blocks in half... What tool did you use? The cuts look very clean.
