Been debating between trying to find the parts or just buying a replacement as well. Ours is a wet bath, so I was thinking about just getting a porta-potty instead, and then turning the toilet cutout in to a regular drain. That way you could remove the potty and have more room to shower. Plus, the outside drain on the black tank leaks a little, so this way it wouldn't be such a big deal if it was leaking a little fluid :PRe: Total Rebuild of a 1979 Dodge Class CWell I was going to post a link to my forum thread showing the rebuild of the over-the-cab part, but it appears to be missing :(Re: Total Rebuild of a 1979 Dodge Class CYeah, I have the white version of the roof seal kind. Guess I just need to go back and fix a couple of areas. I probably tried to stretch it without realizing it. I have another full 100' roll yet so I have plenty to work with :)Re: Total Rebuild of a 1979 Dodge Class CI used regular Eternabond on my RV and was less than impressed. There are spots where it doesn't stay stuck down (it peels up). Guess I should have spent a little more and tried the cloth stuff.Re: Total Rebuild of a 1979 Dodge Class CLooks nicer than my house. Can I come live in your RV? ;)Re: Total Rebuild of a 1979 Dodge Class CI did those self-stick individual square vinyl tiles in mine. Then put a rug over it. That way it has the easiness to clean of the vinyl floor, but we don't have to freeze our feet either.Re: Total Rebuild of a 1979 Dodge Class CMine doesn't have a working motor AC, just the overhead. The couple times we went camping last year, we just opened up the windows in the back so the kids would have a breeze while sitting back there (we have rear dining area) and they were fine. My parents RV is similar to yours and they've done without the motor AC too, just going without on short trips and using the overhead AC for the longer ones.Re: Total Rebuild of a 1979 Dodge Class CI know how you feel. After working on my camper all day too, I'm ready to go to bed!Re: Total Rebuild of a 1979 Dodge Class CThanks for posting all of the pics. I recently bought a 1976 Dodge Class C. I didn't notice when I bought it that there was some water damage in the cab over bunk. Started tearing in to the rotten paneling and have discovered that I'm going to have to rebuild the entire front bunk. Here's the first pic of the water damage. I posted all of my pics so far on Photbucket. I'm just getting started on my fun project! :)
