All deposits and all payments, and free ATM's most everywhere. Never a mistake, someone always available. Check deposits works okay if your scan/picture is good. I have had the same experience with Capital One 360. Great service, never an issue and no fees. They do have a limit on dollar value on checks that can be deposited electronically which is $5,000. Similar to obgraham, we have used them for over 10 years and now use them exclusively. The one issue that you might want to check out is money orders. I have never tried to deposit one, only checks. Good luck.Re: Cool (temperature) parks in California?Try Eagle Lake. We really enjoyed the Merrill Campground. It was around 85 at the campground while it was 102 17 miles away in Susanville. One of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed in! MarkRe: Beach front camping on East Coast?Camp Hatteras on the Outer Banks is nice. Expensive but you can get a spot right on the other side of the dune from the beach.Re: Air compressorI have a porter cable pancake compressor like this: Compressor I also have a Firestone HD compressor on board in my truck for air bags and tire inflation.Re: Cleaning On the RoadI have found many campgrounds do allow (or do not specifically disallow) RV washing. If there is not a specific rule, I wash my RV whenever it needs it. I usually try to do it when it will not inconvenience neighbors such as a close quarter campground.Re: Here's To You FT Folks!ol'yeller, I thought I was the only one, I had been lurking on various fulltimer forums, read every book on the subject and basically dreamed of the day for almost 15 years. There were children to raise, careers to focus on but in July, 2014 with all of the kids out and educated, a early retirement package that came out of the blue and a very supportive spouse, we are on the road. I will tell you that it is the best thing I ever did. As said before, not for everyone but for my wife and I it is the best way to live. Good luck in the future and if you want it, develop a plan and make it happen. MarkRe: Lifestyle 5th wheelWe have had our Lifestyle for just over 2 years. As others have said, the 2015s are all widebodies. We have really enjoyed our LS. It had some initial slide adjustment problems but they all seem to be behind us now. From a fit and finish perspective, I think that Lifestyle is top notch. We have had very good warranty support as have others although there are a few cases (liliputz) where they appear to have been treated shabbily). Good luck in your decision and as Dutch and Di stated you will get more info and opinions than you ever wanted at the Carriage-Lifestyle Forum. MarkSuggestion for improvementI have a concern over a practice at the CW stores that I recently became aware of. I receive at least a couple of emails a week with sale items. I have noticed that the price advertised is higher at the store than in the ad. When I questioned this in the Bridgeport, NJ store, I was informed that I could have the item at the sale price but they would have to add the $9.00 shipping charge to the cost (rendering it more expensive than the "sale price". I would suggest that you change your policies if you would like us to continue to support your stores. Thanks, Mark FromeRe: Reservations? Thanks for all of the great and quick responses. I forwarded the post to my wife! I particularly like the hybrid solutions. MarkReservations? We are ready to embark on our full-timing adventures starting in July. I have followed this forum as well as many other blogs over the years and find that many people do not make advanced reservations. Coming from the Northeast and being primarily weekend and short vacation campers until now going without reservations has my wife very nervous. Are there rules of thumb on when to make reservations and when to wing it? Your advice would be appreciated. Mark and Catherine
