Is there a site that I can look up the replacement part number and purchase at a local auto parts store?Selling your motor homeHas anyone had success or bad results from using this site: motorhomesforsalebyowners.com ?Background CheckHas anyone done a background check,BC,on potential out-of-town buyers of a motor home? Since we will be accepting only wire transfer or certified check, this may be overkill. There seems to be lots of online BC folks out there wanting to take our money to do this, so scammers are a concern.Re: Canadian RV newbie looking to purchase first Class AHi JC. Our first was a 30 ft. gasser, hated it. Wheelbase too short, it got blown off of the road by 18 wheelers passing us, very hard to drive with all the play in the steering. We moved up to a diesel pusher, go here: http://www.trvnclassifieds.com/display.php?id=2155. What a difference. No more very loud noise up front, no excess heat either, a dream to drive.Re: Trying to locate fuse panel on 2003 Allegro busOn my '05, these fuses and breakers are in front outside compartment driver side ;directly beneath driver seat. Fuses for trailering, etc. are in electrical bay inside a black box. There are other fuses located in bottom of center console below lower drawer; not sure what these serve. One other location of fuses is behind padded wall alongside the entry steps; for remote door fob and keyless entry and maybe for power awning.Re: Cleaning fresh water tankI did this twice already for 2 days each with about 3 times the normal bleach concentration. No change to color of water after draining and filling tank with city water then using tank again.Cleaning fresh water tankWe just returned from our 11,000+ mile round trip to Alaska. We experienced varying levels of water quality at the many RV parks where we stayed. We returned with a fouled fresh water tank. I have super-clorinated it twice and flushed it afterwards, but we still get discolored water when using the tank. Water is clear when we use city water, so the piping is not the problem. There is no way to scour the inside of the tank. I am looking for suggestions for cleaning the residue from inside the tank.Re: Bathroom Sink Fixture ReplacementMost fixtures now come with a molded plastic sealing gasket to fit between the fixture and the lavatory so no other sealing is necessary. If your new one does not, use plumber's putty rolled and formed to fit under the outer lip, then clean off the putty that is squeezed out when you tighten the fixture down.Re: Door Awning/ Wont CloseI have the same problem. I took the moving parts & motor apart and lubed everything. It was better, but still binds sometimes. When it does, I use a broom to gently nudge it closed with the motor running. I try to do this when no one is watching though.Re: 50/30/20 amp helpTom, you do not have 220 volt appliances in your rig and you should not plug your rig into a conventional 220 volt circuit. When you use 50 amp connection, you have 2 ea. 110 volt cable inputs, 50 amps max each, that should not read 220 volts across them. When you use 30 amp circuit you use only one leg, 110 volt input, 30 amp max. Search this forum for RV power to learn more about how your rig is wired for 50 & 30 amp service.
