I tow a 35' 5th wheel. I run that psi loaded and unloaded. Same here. Been using those numbers since '04 when it was new. Both with a TT and now a fiver.Re: Some science regarding towing ib516 wrote: Simply put.... You can pound a nail into a board using a pair of pliers, but a hammer works so much better. I've found that in some cases the closest heavy object within my reach makes a perfectly good hammer...........Re: Gowanus Expressway and BQEJust curious as to where the height restriction is. We went through there twice last summer in both directions and had no issues other than staying in the center lane and out of the right lane near the concourse. Our rig is 12' 7" highRe: Gowanus Expressway and BQEWe live on Long Island and used the BQE a couple of times over the last year as an alternative to the Cross Bronx. It's actually much better than it used to be. As was mentioned there are some areas where it gets a bit tight but the road surface is not as bad as it used to be. Then again, just like a typical NYC road it's rough compared to just about anywhere else in the U.Re: Sunnybrooke / winnabago qualityWell we recently (2 weeks ago) picked up a 2013 Winnebago 30FWRES 5th wheel. We've been out once for a shakedown weekend and so far we're very happy with the overall quality and layout of the unit. While there will always be little things here and there that you'll notice regardless of who makes the unit. I have to honestly say that the overall quality is pretty darn good. Cabinets are solid, no flex in any spots in the floor. Lots and lots of inside and outside storage. Dry weight is 8600 and GVWR is 11500 We have 2 more trips planned over the next month so we'll see how it shakes out. Re: Oil consumption with 6.6 turbo Duramax??FWIW we have a 2004 Duramax with 125,000 miles. Mine never refills the containers but when checking the dipstick it usually shows full or very close. I agree with the fact that there is oil left in the filter and the fact that it drains all over the darn skid plate. Been using Rotella 15w-14 almost exclusively since the truck was new. Nice truck, good luck
