Our motor home has been at the Ford garage for 44 days because of rear end problems. Parts (ring and pinion gear) are back order and unknown when they will come. Hoping they show up soon!

How is the automatic step supposed to work? I swear it would open stay out when parked until I turned on the ignition key. Now it goes in and out every time I open or close the door. What is proper?The class A is a 2020 Coachmen Pursuit XPS
The specs say over 1700 lbs tongue weight for 13,000 lbs gvwr. Is there a 3/4 ton truck that can carry that weight? My 2500 hd says 1300 lbs max. Does anybody pull this or similar trailer with a 3/4 ton truck?I think this trailer will max out my rig

No new news on when the part will arrive. But in the long run if the biggest problem in our lives is that we can't take a trip in our motor home, then we are blessed!
It was not part of the recall, but it is under Ford chassis warranty. May look into after market parts as a last resort, but that will affect warranty in the future. Hopefully things will work out. Had short trip plans for spring, but long trip plans...
We bought the counter top at Home Depot. We looked at the cheap ones and "we" liked the expensive one the best! Like all projects the budget disappeared after the first day.
