I don't see how I can be satisfied with it after having the differential giving out after only 7,000 miles and waiting 4 months to get it repaired. We have very little choice as to chassis that are available for motor homes, but I feel that F-53 is one of the worst possible choices. We have to spend money on a new vehicle to enhance the handling just to get it to be safe to drive down the road. To not be able to get an integral part for over 90 days is incredible. Ford was continuing to build new chassis while my vehicle sat in a dealer's lot waiting for a part. You were very good at staying in contact with me, but I don't feel that Ford really cared about my situation. I feel that Ford should extend my drive train warranty for 6 months because I was unable to use my vehicle for such a long time and I have very little confidence in the quality of the vehicle. SteveRe: Rear end problem 2021 F53 chasisNo new news on when the part will arrive. But in the long run if the biggest problem in our lives is that we can't take a trip in our motor home, then we are blessed!Re: Rear end problem 2021 F53 chasisIt was not part of the recall, but it is under Ford chassis warranty. May look into after market parts as a last resort, but that will affect warranty in the future. Hopefully things will work out. Had short trip plans for spring, but long trip plans for summer.Rear end problem 2021 F53 chasisOur motor home has been at the Ford garage for 44 days because of rear end problems. Parts (ring and pinion gear) are back order and unknown when they will come. Hoping they show up soon!Re: Photos of my Eagle Cap 811Nice!Re: Removed dinette added fireplace and barWe bought the counter top at Home Depot. We looked at the cheap ones and "we" liked the expensive one the best! Like all projects the budget disappeared after the first day.Removed dinette added fireplace and barWe tore apart our new motor home's dinette set and put in a bar with a fireplace! We didn't like the gray so we changed it to the brown. Lots more floor space and room to walk and maybe even dance! Used 2 15 x 15 Ikea kitchen cabinets and a countertop from Home Depot The fireplace/space heater is a 30" Furion from etrailer We had the gray wood left over from another project but liked the brown better! "We" plan to paint the doors of the cabinet, but "we" haven't decided on what color yet. We are looking for the perfect bar stools. My wife is very happy with the finished project!
