I've asked the mod to lock this thread but I'm done here.Re: best way to sellI was responding to westernrvparkowner. He said I was trolling. The handle was used because my name wasn't available.Re: best way to sellWe wrote the check on September 23 and did not get the bus from CW until the week of Halloween. Today marks the third week that we've been waiting for the repair and add on. Do you make a habit of calling people liars and trolls. Actually there is a good bit of trolling in your idiotic comment.Re: best way to sellI don't particularly like the lifestyle. I particularly hate having any work done on it because they keep it for weeks. Won't go back to CW . Ever. There is nothing wrong with the bus. The only work I've had done were options. But dealer took 6 weeks to prep after we wrote them a check. It's been in a different shop for three weeks having a tire minder system installed and a bent arm on the Traveler Dish replaced under warranty. I think the RV industry needs decent service options.best way to sellI think buying a new class A 5 months ago was the worst decision I have ever made. What is the best way to sell it?Re: LevelingThe manual is very clear about not letting wheels leave the ground while leveling for a stay. In fact is says it so many times that the first thing I put in our storage box was 2x10s to support the tires if they did. I believe the manual. My problem was that PT 2x10s didn't last 4 trips. I looked at everything I could find on blocking and convinced myself that plastic blocks would fare no better. I read on another RV sight about the horse stall liners made from recycled tires. I found and bought a 4'x6' pad at tractor supply and plotted out the best way to cut it up for use as tire blocks. They are 3/4 inch thick and will never wear out. I wore out 4 jigsaw blades cutting them to size. I can raise any two wheels on the MH 3 3/4 inches if I ever need to. My driveway is 3 inches lower where the front wheels sit than the rear wheels. I cut the pads to fit the dual rear wheels and narrower ones for the front. The pieces vary in width by 2 inches so I can stack them and the wheels only have to step up 3/4 inches from one pad to the next. The MH is sitting on them now and I'm out $39 for a fix that should last a very long time. The sheet was very heavy. The wide and narrow strips fit easily in the smallest storage compartment. I like doing things like this once. My 2x10s are near the trash burn pile now because they are each in 2 pieces. I plan to raise the MH as minimally as possible because tech support at Winnie and every manual I read says to do so.Re: propane heatYeah, we have a variety of space heaters that we can try. I like the idea of the park payin for my heat. Like I said in the other post, Winnebago tech support told me the duct work was encased in Styrofoam and therefore inaccessible. Next trip, we'll play with closing off vents just to see if we can get the air flow up front. I have verified that the ducts are connected and free of obstruction to the front by blowing air from the hall vent towards the front. It appears that the design may have issues but like everyone else does, we can carry auxiliary heat. At least the floor system will do that which matters most to me by keeping plumbing pipes from freezing up. Already put the drop light in the water compartment as suggested by Winnie tech support.
