The crack is on wall we’re faucets are and am not sure how it got cracked. I would like to attempt a repair but am not sure if it is actually plastic, acrylic, or fiberglass. Would a plastic welder that repairs cracks in kayakswork? So I would like to know best way to approach this repair so that is not too unpleasant to look at. Can it be replaced? If so how? If I do get it repaired is there a contact paper that can be used to dress it up over repaired crack? All comments welcome. ThanksCrack in plastic shower wall Lance 1172We noticed a crack running along the wall of our shower just below the spigots and runs to curve on back wall. Is there a practical way to repair this or must the shower walls be replaced ? This is in a 2013, Lance 1172.Re: Battery QuestionI decided against Lithiums due to non ability to charge in freezing temperatures. I got a good price on agms and my converter works on agm's but NOT Lithium, so check all the other stuff to be sure it is compatible with your choice or be prepared to upgrade.Re: Hot water tankOk thanks, I always did the same putting rv antifreeze in water tank and lines and bypassing hot water, per Lances instructions....no freeze up yet. So i wont create a problem where there is none.... Freezeups I have had, are the spray faucets on sink, shower and outside, forgetting to unscrew them and drain them out....one cracked on me so I disconnect them now.Hot water tankWhen one drains the 6 gal hot water tank, by opening drain plug and releasing pressure how much water remains in the tank? Reason for asking....... I drained water lines, tank, etc and put a compressor on the winterizing suction line and moved valve at the water pump to winterize, I left inside valve on normal, each time I applied air pressure I had water come out of hot water tank. Could it be blown in from main tank residual water? Or is there water left in hot water tank after draining? SteveLance 1172 plug wiring accessI want to install a new Lance plug onto my 2013 1172 TC. Is there any info on: 1. how to access the wiring source in my TC 2. how to run power from the battery etc to the receptacle, or where to splice receptacle to existing wires. (Ram 3500 dually, 2014) thanks, GeterdoneRe: 2013 Lance 1172 compatibility with Lithium ion batteriesI REALLY APPRECIATE THE QUICK REPLIES. I found that the PD converter 4000 I have will NOT, HANDLE LITHIUM, LIPOF4, ETC batteries. Also, my solar charge controller may not handle either. So i am reluctant to put a lot of money in upgrading due to age of camper. I will likely go to 2 AGM Group 27 batteries, so if any suggestions on good ones of those let me know. thanks again....will know now that there is more to it than meets the eye. I am glad I did not buy Lithium without checking. Steve2013 Lance 1172 compatibility with Lithium ion batteriesCan a 2013, 1172 Lance TC, that has deep cycle batteries and a 100 Watt oem solar panel, take Lithium ion batteries without any new hardware or major mods? Will my charging an converting equip stay the same as well as the controller on the solar? Thanks for your advicePlanning a trip Jun 2020 to Nova Scotia/PEIWe are looking for recommendations on dos and don'ts on taking our TC to Nova Scotia/PEI in Jun 2020. Things like ferry crossings, destination campgrounds, things to see, things to avoid, any biking available, boon-docking sites, supplies, anything that may be helpful. thanks, Steve and Patti EnglishOnan Cummins Propane GeneratorI have an Onan propane generator, factory equipped on my Lance 2013, 1172 and have not done much maintenance. It has 58 hrs on it. I was going to try and change air filter, but seems difficult to get cap off in the units enclosure. Are there any other tips on keeping this unit in good running shape. steve
