Winnobago horror in the hiding spots . wires.
If you have any 90s winnobago you really need to take the time and look in cabinet behind the power125v and 12v contol panel I was looking at wiring for furnace and spotted 2 125v wires pinched super tight against the steel of control panel back and the 1/2 plywood that holds the furnance. I was horrified. I need to un screw the main panel to slide it out a bit and check wires and make clearance for the 2 wires . Huge job . It's all original in there straight from the factory in 1992. Has others spotted stuff like this ? I have pictures of it there in there dam tight to point the 1/2 plywoods flexing . How I know it's original is neather the control panel or furnance wasnever beenremoved. It's a model 27RC rear bath. My 1992 27RC has 7.50 -16 and Manuel parking brake foot peddle on left side. I put a set of custom 3990 lb super springs $400 in front and got rid of front Air bags. Thing rides like a car. Thanks for the insite on the model . Not a fan of auto park at all. 1994 still have 16 inch wheels or did they go bigger? On the Chevy chassis. I was shopping for a friend to try and get him in to a motorhome. And came across a 33RQ that even made me think of upgrading . Newer ones are just littered with tech issues . Is a 1994 33RQ Brave Chevy 454 a coil front independent suspension Or is it front leaf suspension it's at the 16000 lbs weight I Ijust wonder ing the difference. I'm sure it has auto park also . Just talked to Honda generator Onan dealer it needs to be unbonded . Thanks for all your input. This trailer has no EMS .. I just ordered a 30 amp surge protector also He will be all set up correctly . Itasca55 Hope this helps out others. So I get this straight .. He's got trailer that's a 30 amp .. I bought the Honda 30 amp to RV adapter to use.. and on a travel trailer it should be unbonded . So I need to do the unbonding stated in the service bulletin ?? So maked it right for this application? Running in the back of the truck hooked to trailer .. I have a nephew that wants to use my eb6500 Honda generator in back of his truck. For trailer air conditioner My question is about grounding. Should generator be on a rubber mate in back of the truck ? Are all travel trailer unbonded like motorhomes? Should he use the 3 prong 30 amp to RV adapter. Or the 4 prong so he has GFI but only one leg ? It's the first time using the eb 6500 like this any pointers would be great ..he's got little kids so we want it hooked up as safe as we can .. thanks for any input .
