crusty lime residue on outside
While spending the winter in Tucson this past year we evidently had a small drip at the fresh water hose and didn't realize it until we started to wash and wax our motorhome. There is a crusty line going straight down the side from the water inlet. We always take great care to wash and wax after the winter trip so this is very frustrating not being able to remove it. My wife and I are leaving in August on a fall trip to Portland Or. from Mayfield, Ky,In the Southwestern tip of the state. I am looking for any information that might be helpful in planning our journey. Routing, campgrounds, truck stops, anything that will help determine our best options. My first instinct was to take the Interstate through Nebraska and Wyoming, but it has been close to thirty years since I drove through this section of the country. Has anyone replaced their over the cab bed with storage cabinets? Are there any places that you can buy cabinets that are prefabbed for this application? My wife and I travel alone and do not use the over the cab bed. We would like to have cabinets similar to what you see in b-class units. I am curious to know if anyone here has tackled this. We have a month scheduled in Colorado Springs in September, and we are getting concerned about the forest fire situation that they have going on right now. It is hard to get good information from that area. Has anyone been through there in the last few days?
