At least you'd be in the general area I assume. On my Class C (Thor) the fresh water drain valve is on the outside of the motorhome near the bedroom closet area. Pulling a drawer out of closet area reveals the fresh water tank on my unit. I hope this helps.Re: Light Weight TrailerI found the post (even if long) interesting and made mental note about the brand and model name to avoid. Too many issues for a new trailer and horrible service from CW. All info was helpful to me. Thanks for posting.Re: Slide room cable adjustmentSorry to hear of your troubles. I don't have a cable system slide, but one of the Schwenk? systems that runs on gears/track and motor. I hope someone with the cable system can advise you. Several dealers warned us of getting a trailer with the cable system. When it's time to get a different trailer, keep this in mind. Good Luck to you.Re: Give me your feedback - Dutchmen Aerolite Bunk HouseAlso check the Lance trailer line. Excellent quality. The 2185 model sleeps 7, triple bunks, 26' 4400 lbs.Re: Need some advice with cold weatherI am no expert and I am not familiar with the "Arctic" package. However, I have Lance "4 Seasons" TT and my understanding is if I kept my furnace on even a low setting it would circulate around the tanks including grey and black. Then with the water heater on as well you should be safe through those freezing nights. I have never tried to keep my TT available through some freezing nights so I have no first hand experience. Just my thoughts. Maybe someone who has a TT like yours or has been through some cold nights will be responding as well.Re: which coverAfter some research I chose the ADCO cover and used it last year for the first time and now I have winterized my trailer and just put the cover on it again 2 weeks ago. So far, so good. It looks nice, has zippers to access trailer if needed and many straps that go underneath as well as tightening straps at both the front and back end. If folded correctly for use, just lay in place on top of trailer and unfold over front, sides and back. My wife assists with a ladder while I am on the roof. Maybe 20 minutes. I would recommend it.Re: Best Wax for Fiberglass Trailer?I agree with the Collinite Insulator Wax. It had lots of good reviews when I did a research, I used it once and it did well. I have since sold that trailer and am ready to use it again on my new one.quick connect hose for outdoor grillI bought a Coleman Roadtrip LXE outdoor grill (2 burner) that has a regulator made to accept the 1 lb portable propane bottles. It works great. I went to propane store and had a 6ft hose made that connects to the built in quick connect on the trailer and then into the Coleman regulator in place of the 1 lb propane bottle. I get very little propane to come out and very low pressure and very low flame. Any ideas why? Are the portable grills made to only work with the 1 lb. portable bottle? And yes the quick connect valve is in the fully on position and all connections are screwed in tightly.Re: Our new to us 2004 Keystone Sprinter 300 FKMSCongrats on the new trailer-looks mighty fine. Hope you enjoy some fun times ahead.Re: 5000 miles and no TT brakesI learned something here so I thank you guys for input. I can usually feel a tug when I brake, but I never thought about manually moving the slide each time I leave a campsite or whatever to check them. I will begin to do so!
