The wiring in my new Chevy 3500 tailgate looks more complicated than in my 2013 truck. Time to remove the tailgate and load the camper on. Would appreciate input from anyone who has done this. Thanks.
My 2 year old Fantastic Fan stopped working. Checked fuse- OK, but replaced anyway. No luck. My unit doesn't have a remote and the thermostat is a dial on the fan unit. Any suggestions...is there something simple that I'm missing? Thanks.
I'd like to have a spare tire more accessible than the factory setup under the rear end of my Chevy 2500HD. The front of the truck looks like the obvious place to install a 2" receiver with a spare carrier.My only concern would be obstructing the air...
Torklift is showing "nothing available" for my Chevy 2019 3500HD crew cab short box diesel 4wd. Does anyone know if the 2018 tiedowns will work on the 2019 truck? Thanks.
Forgot to mention in my previous post....althought my combo is identical to the OP's rig, I have the plow package on my truck which includes a higher rated front axle.
Interesting....I have an 8-11 on a 2019 Chevy 3500 Duramax with upper stableloads and did a 6,000 mile round trip from NY to MT last spring and did not experience that problem. I guess every truck camper combo has it's own personality.
I'm considering putting 2 Battleborn 100 ah Lithium batteries in my 2016 8-11 SE Q and am advised by the factory of the need to replace the solar regulator and power converter to LI units. Has anyone done this modification and can tell me what units ...
