In the past, Spartan was a step up from the FL chassis. Nowadays, Spartan seems to be fading out of the RV market and FL seems to be getting stronger/better. IMO, older coaches with Spartan chassis would be preferable over FL, new coaches are probably just the opposite. If the thermocouple shows continuity, it's probably good. If it fails, it will show an open and the red light on the box will flash. If you get a solid red light, the problem is with the box itself. You may or may not be able to reset it with the magnet. Norcold will replace the box for free, but will only send it to a certified tech. They will not give it to the owner. You may want to do a little research on this. That's what I'm using now. Much better.387Views0likes0Comments
