Norcold On Lights Stays On With Frig Off
My Norcold Model N843 refrigerator on light stays on after the refrigerator is turned off. If I push the on/off button, then the refrigerator starts in one of the modes. I am sure the refrigerator is off because I open the door and the light is out. If I turn the master switch for my house batteries off and back on then the on light stays off. The batteries are brand new. I have meters on the dash that tells me the voltage for the house batteries and the battery that starts the motor. Before I start the motor the house batteries read zero. After I start the motor the house batteries read 14.2. After I turn the motor off the motor the house batteries stay on for a short period of time and then everything shuts down. I have not tried using the generator or the house current yet. I am going to check the terminals for corrosion and looseness this weekend. Everything that is run on 12 volts will not come on until I start the motorhome. After a few seconds they all start to work. When I turn the engine off, everything continues to work for awhile but then everything shuts off. I have a 2005 Fleetwood Bounder 32w. There is a toggle switch with the picture of a headlight right behind the controls for the levelers next to the driver's seat. I have looked in my manuals and looked on line and I can not find out what this toggle switch is supposed to do. Can anyone tell me what this switch controls? Thank all of you for the suggestions. I am going to look again this weekend and check the three items that would affect the slide out.
