I appreciate all the answers.Re: Elkmont campground questionThanks folks for the replies. I have the water thief and the water jugs for refilling when we need to. We are traveling 750 mi. on this trip with one stop already planned. I really don't want haul any more weight up and down those hills than I have to . My tank holds 50 gal. so that is a lot of weight sloshing around . I still need to know if there is fresh water at the sugarlands welcome center. Again thanks for the replies.Elkmont campground questionCan anyone tell me where I can fill my water tanks before I set up at Elkmont Campground in Smokey Mountains NP. I know there is a dump station at the Sugarlands Visitor center but I can't find any info about fresh water. All I get is a recorded loop when I tried to call them , finally gave that up . Any help would be appreciated.Re: Generator that won't break the bank..My Yamaha 2800i is an inverter generator ,with an open frame . Not as quiet as the Honda 2000 but has a little more power. I thought the inverter meant it was safe for electronics. I could be wrong because I bought this thing 10 yrs ago and I have slept since then.Re: Arctic Fox questionThanks folks. I took another look and on the opposite side from my pressure water connection, behind a locked door was the gravity feed. Its all good now thank you fro the responses.Arctic Fox questionI recently bought a 2015 Arctic Fox 25Y and towed it 825 mi home. I bought it from a dealer that had taken it in trade so he really didn't know the trailer as well as he would have his brands. I camped one night on the way home connected to city water, took a shower so I know the water heater works all the places that should have water ,have water. All of the places that shouldn't have water were dry. After disconnecting from the water I tried to use the pump and sink to wash my hands. The pump ran and a little water sputtered out ,then it was just air. I assumed the tank was empty, no big deal. I got home and it was a week or so before I thought about it again. I discovered there is only one fill spot on the trailer, not 2 like my old trailer. All that being said,I tend to ramble. Is there a valve I need to turn to fill my tank, and where is it? Any help would be appreciated. BobRe: Arctic Fox questionscbwr , better get it done cause if Mama ain't happy ,nobody is happyRe: Arctic Fox questionThanks for the replies . I will pull that cover and see what I can do.Arctic Fox questionJust got home Monday with my new,to me, 2015 arctic Fox 25Y. Everything is great with the trailer ,the first owners only kept it a short while(maybe 6 months ,less than a year) they even did a few mods such as screens on all the places wasps like ,even left the chairs and they don't look like they were used. My question is , when I took a shower the floor didn't seem to have much support. It flexed more than I would think it should. Is this normal? Other than that I couldn,t be happier and am looking forward to a lot of good years camping. Thanks for any feedback.Pulled the triggerFinally found a trailer I wanted at a price I could live with only 850 mi from me LOL. I will pick up my new ,to me ,trailer, a 2015 Arctic Fox 25Y , next Saturday and pull her home Sunday and Monday. I have been looking for a long time and almost bought a Jayco , but the new ones changed the suspension so that fouled that up. With my type of camping I think I will be happier with the Fox even if it doesnt have an outside kitchen. I have all the camp kitchen stuff I need anyway and I seldom camp where I could plug that AC refrigerator in. See ya in the woods .
