We had a power outage that knocked my EMS off line and everything switched to the batteries (we were on a long trip and the coach was in storage) Came home and dead batteries. I would like to charge them, rather than replace them if they will hold a charge. Can I charge the set without removing all the cables ? 40 foot HR Diesel. Thanks LarryRe: A Dirty QuestionScott I have a Holiday Rambler that cost new $200Gs, we have to keep our hose in a 5 gal. bucket. The factory made no provision for storage. LarryRe: Grays Harbor Speedway, Elma, WA.you can also use Elma RV down to highway 12 and under the freeway about a 1/4mile. It's only about a mile from the track LarryRe: Turtle RV ClubI can see the turtle in my head, but can't place it. I will keep looking LarryRe: Campground Descriptions ~ Just ThinkingWe have been fulltime for a year now and are dissapointed in the quality of some parks we come across on a few of the review sites, I wonder if some of the posts are done by the owners themselves. We were at one that when we went to check rvparkreviews the pictures were wonderful, on par, right up there with the reviews, 4 star. The park was a mess, because I paid up front we stayed. During our stay I was talking with the owners and they produced a scrapbook, the pictures at rvparkreview were 14 years old, right after the Resort opened.Re: Campsite Etiquette ...Campsite Etiquette has gone the route of Respecting Others.Re: Sewer Flush - do you open just black tank or bothOn my HR the factory installed tank flush is only on the Black Tank, I have a Valterra Flush King I bought that will cause a surge of water from the city water to rinse the tank, 3 min. and flush, do this a couple of times then I close the black tank valve and open the grey valve, (it is open most all the time) then I can back flush the grey tank a couple of times, you woul;d be shocked at the little pieces of junk that is in the grey tank, a couple of flushes and no smells.Re: full time changing residenceOnly two I've heard about, Texas and South Dakota. I read last month that the new gov. of SD is planning on if not stopping RVers, to putting some harsh laws into effect that will tax RVers and fill the government coffers. Can't remember where I saw it. LarryRe: electric / propane water heater questionOn my Holiday Rambler if the LP is on I have a red light on the panel. I have an Energy Management Syst. control panel that showes a green light if the elect. hot water is on line, the elect. switch which is next to the LP switch does not have any light, could be burnt out, half of the switches don't have a light or are burned out.Re: Our Worst Camping WeekendEverytime we have stayed at state parks here in Washington, it's a gamble getting a space, and if you do, don't leave it for a second, especially to go get you'r RV, people dont have the same respect for "I was here first", and I can also remember when you could leave your chairs and ice chest just sitting along side your rig, no one would bother them. We were parked at one park close to a big city, when a couple came in and set up thier camp, tent, chairs and such, then left, the ranger was patroling the area and saw a couple of "Early Twentys" removing the gear so they could camp there, he did his job and ran them off, later in the evening all of thier gear was found piled on the tent and the whole thing was on fire.
