So I called for a wrecker to tow it to the garage for repair. (the battery was only 13 months old) I was able to get home and call for assistance from my home phone. I was fortunate in that respect for sure. The operator that answered asked me first if I was safe and in a safe location. After assuring her I was she continued to take the info needed, put me on hold briefly and returned to tell me that help would arrive within 30 minutes. I was able to walk back to my car and arrived just as the wrecker pulled into the parking lot. Within a few minutes, the car was on the wrecker we were on our way to the repair shop. One new starter and many $$$$ later, I was good to go again. Understandably, my case is the exception to the rule since I was in my own neighborhood in the midst of familiar surroundings. I have dealt with AAA of Florida under much the same circumstances and had a very different outcome. Just my 2 cents worth relating a good experience with Good Sam. John B.Re: Supplemental Brake...
