Also, don't rule out the ECU on the older Fords. My 1994 had a random miss that I chased for a couple years until I pulled the ECU and replaced leaking capacitors.
I have extra capacitors if you need them. I ended up paying a electronics repair guy $40 to desolder and resolder replacement caps. It didn't have a legit desoldering tool.
I agree with devocamper and go m4 products. Great QUALITY products. Be sure to specify the warm white if that's what you are what you are looking for. I've seen what I believe to be the same product on ebay if you want to save a few $$$.
