I have takedn the weight of it into consideration as well. ThanksRe: Electric Tongue JackThanks guys!Electric Tongue JackWanting to replace my manual tongue jack with electric. Trailer loaded is 4750lbs with tongue weight of 530lbs. So should I size the new jack for just tongue weight?Re: AC working? Toddupton wrote: I have never come across a leak that is not fixable. If you take it to an rv shop they will sell you a new one. Take it to a refrigeration service company and you would be amazed what a good tech can do in 30 minutes. Agreed. Some of these types of AC units do not have service ports so ppl will say they can't repair it due to not being able to recharge the unit. If you have a leak then there's no freon in system normally (or very little) so a good tech can add these ports, fix leak, and recharge system in 30 mins to 1 hour. Do not listen to someone who says a leak cannot be repaired. I have worked as a HVAC tech and repaired sevral leaks for ppl who were told they needed a new unitRe: Weight distribution hitch needed? Will start off with saying I am new to the use of WDH's but installed one on my truck and I would reccommend it. My TT tongue weight fully loaded is 512# and it didnt cause the rear of my truck to sag very much at all, but went with the hitch after reading how highly recommended they are. I've made a 200+ mile trip without one and with one and after the trip with it installed I can say it was definetly worth the money. Truck handled better and I wasn't as nervous about being passed by several big rigs at once going down interstate since I now had sway control as well. I bought mine off etrailer.com and installed it myself, so if you feel capable and wanna save a few bucks you could check em out.Re: Picking up new camper tomorrow!Congrats! We slept in ours the night we got it (kids couldn't wait).Sway BarPurchase and installed a new Pro Choice WD Hitch today. Everything was pretty straight forward and fairly simple to install, but I have a question about the sway bar. This is my first experience with a sway bar so I'm a little worried about how loose it seems when installed. when the sway bar is installed and tightened up I am getting a lot of side to side movement. The front to back movement is fine when tightened up. It almost seems like the mounting point for the sway bar is to large for the ball that is installed on hitch and trailer tongue. If any of this makes sense to you guys could ya lemme know if this is normal or not. Just wanna reaffirm that there is no front or back movement when sway bar is engauged so I'm comfortable there. Just worried about left to right movement. Thanks
