That unit is the newest entry unit in the Coachmen line. Think of it as. Good in. a good, better best system. It was probably built in 2013 - maybe 14 before the labor market started challenging quality control with careless workers. Talk to the previous owner. Any upgrades? Who serviced it and what are your service plans moving forward. Is the selling dealer they’re going to give you 30 6090 days warranty? See you read to service it whether it’s under warranty or cash, what is it like to work with them? Remember the icing that you see in the cake made out to be a decent cake underneath With the dealer.Re: Blackstone 22" griddle reviewI i've had one for six months and it's really outstanding. Set up a propane feed off my tank instead of using the little green bottles. After about 15 or 20 times it really seasons up nicelyI'd recommend a small spray bottle to keep nearby when you're done cooking. Mist the grill scrape it down and clean it it's much easier than pouring water from a bottle because it's too excessive. Now for the ouch part… I only paid $79 on Amazon .Re: Lake ErieErie PA is worth exploring. Lampe Marina CG is inexpensive and you can read the reviews which are all goodRe: Warning TrianglesWe have those, reflective vests and collapseable cones.Re: Winnebago Dealer Recommendation for the NortheastThey have an alternative ego in the form of RVDIRECT.COM. There are some super prices but I think it happens because of time on the lot.Re: Winnebago Dealer Recommendation for the Northeast2X on doing business with Ray Wakley. I bought our first RV at Buffalo RV. Our experience had mixed success in both sales, PDI and service. We also personally dealt with one of the owners. We could not reach a deal yet the same unit was offered weeks later on their other national site for $50k less. So much for being a valuable repeat customer. I waited 6 weeks for a service quote on a towing set up. Never got it. Wakley's is different- small town values, ease no pressure shop. There are three sales guys. One is Ray's son. We worked with Steve. And I can't begin to tell you how much honesty, integrity and respect you'll get. Just honest folks making it happen one unit at a time. Then there is service - they do their own. In their own shop which for a small town is massive. They even have a full paint booth for RVs. It's worth your time to check them out. Visit all of the biggies in WNY. Wakley's is 60 miles down I-90. Then you can decide for yourself. As for me, I bought a Coachmen Mirada. And we love it. The floodplain beats similar Georgetown (very small bathrooms) Jayco Precept and Winnebago (nice but no residential fridge) models when you compare layout and features. Finally I just raving happy customer. Maybe I would have been for other dealers had I gotten the same treatment and deal I received at Wakley's.ADDING SATELITE ANTENNASo we're at the point determining what type of satellite dish to add to our new Mirada by Coachmen. 1. Has anyone added a sat antenna to a Mirada? 2. Were you able to use the existing wiring to feed two boxes from the antenna? 3. Where is the OTA amp hid? 4. What antenna? We're Direct TV at home. Any advise is appreciated!Re: Residential refrigeratorWOW what great responses! You have confirmed with my suspicions were about which decision to make. Thank you! Have any of you installed solar panels on the roof of your vehicle in order to supplement your batteries? If so where did you have it done and what am I looking at in terms of cost or needs?Residential refrigeratorHow well do residential refrigerators work in motorhomes? Is being level as critical? Are they more efficient in hot weather? What do you see as the good OR NOT so good points? We've focused on two new motorhomes. One has a traditional and the other has a residential model.Re: chicago area routing help Romer1 wrote: I 39 to I 80 to exit 151 on OH tpk which is 480 to 271. Unless you catch 80 around Chicago at rush hour, it's usually 55 -60 mph all the way. In June with I=Pass tolls for me were $46.71 thru IN & OH. Worth it to me for no lights, etc, plus having time constraints. P.S. Avoid I 86 in NY at all costs What's wrong with I-86.? With minor exceptions it's all been rebuilt, and the traffic is light. Am I missing something?
