Appreciate all those who gave campground suggestions/recommendations. Spruce Park Village and Glacier Pines were the two I was considering. Glacier Pines has a great website where the campground map shows the layout of individual sites. JGrimes: The route you use (I hope towing a trailer or 5th wheel) is the one we were considering, but didn't know if it was suitable for either. I think by the time we are in Kalispell, we'll be ready for some restaurant food. Would love to know food eateries popular with the locals. Thanks again. We will be camping in our travel trailer in Glacier National Park for 8 nights in August. We will then head west to Spokane, Washington. We would like to camp a couple of nights, with full hookup and wi-fi in either Whitefish or Kalispell to restock and clean, etc. Would appreciate input from anyone who has camped in either town, and has campground recommendation. Also, which route would be best to Spokane? I'm looking at Montana 28...which is a black colored route on the Montana map. Is it suitable for trailer towing? Thanks, Carol1.6KViews0likes6Comments
