Shore power plugs in on the drivers side rear and appears to disappear up behind the drivers side bedroom cabinet. Generator is behind the drivers seat. Breaker box is in the drivers side bedroom rear overhead cabinet but I don’t see access to the ATS (or whatever this coach uses to switch from generator to shore power). We’ve been on the road for a week with a mix of generator/dry camping and RV parks with hookups and this is the first instance of this issue.‘93 Beaver Patriot transfer switchWednesday evening we used the generator on our way to a dry camping spot. Didn’t use it yesterday because we didn’t need the air conditioning. Dry camped again last night. Fire up the generator this morning and it starts like normal but no power to the coach. Flipped the breakers in the coach and on the generator but no luck. Figured the ATS would be the easiest place to start diagnostics but can’t find it. Wiring would lead me to believe that it is on the drivers side rear corner but can’t figure out what I have to take apart to get to it. Anyone been into the ATS on a ‘93 Patriot 36’?Re: 1994 Beaver Patriot VINWhat I have found so far is a paper Recreation Vehicle Data Card on the inside of the door of the bathroom closet that has manufacturer, VIN, build date, and component serial numbers. Turns out that ours is a '93. Somewhat surprised that a piece of paper glued to the inside of a door was still there after 27 years. Thanks for suggestions on where to look.Re: 1994 Beaver Patriot VINThere is a VIN on the title but I like to verify that to the vehicle. Typos have been known to occur. I didn't see one in the lower left corner of the windshield. I'll be able to do a search once I take possession next weekend but thought someone who had one might point me in the direction of where to look.1994 Beaver Patriot VINWe're purchasing a 1994 Beaver Patriot but I wasn't able it locate the VIN plate inside. On other coaches, I've typically found an aluminum plate with make, VIN, tire size, weight ratings, etc on the wall to the left of the drivers seat. All I found on this Beaver this far is a plastic sticker on the outside next to the door that appears to have the VIN on it but it's so faded that it's not fully legible. Can someone point me to where to look for a VIN inside?Re: OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY PD4501 now mineJust saw another one of those old coaches sitting at a salvage/towing yard in Chickasha Oklahoma about two weeks ago. Looks like it only arrived there recently. Wish someone would rescue it. Can't wait to see updates on how this one is revived.Re: Flushing with grey waterTwo thoughts off-hand - I may have missed where you included in but if you didn't already, you may want to include some basic filtration between the grey water tank and the pump to make cleaning out the hair and soap scum easier than having to pull the pump screen. Second, if I were doing it, I'd try to find some way to disable the grey water pump when the three way valve is set to fresh water. Either a physical interlock of some sort or an electrical lockout where that pump could not be powered up until the valve was set to grey water. Other than those thoughts, it sounds to me like it should do what you are trying to accomplish. As a pre-construction test, I'd go draw a bucket of couple day old bath water from the grey water tank, bring it inside for a few hours, and let DW give it a good sniff to see if the odor is going to be an issue.Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Cleaned the posts on the chassis battery and washed the back and street side. Still have to wash the curb side.Tow dolly tiresDo you find that you have better luck with radials or bias ply? We're currently running a ST175/80D13 (50 psi, load range C) but have had wear issues with this set. The previous set of bias ply tires wore quickly but evenly until they developed golf ball size knots on the corners of the tread and were warrantied for this set. Considering radials for the next set but hate to spend the extra money ($10/tire) if the aren't going to wear any better. What's your experience been?Re: Generator issuesWow, two days and no one has a thought. First, welcome to the forum. As I'm reading your post, you've checked the voltage at the breaker on the generator and again at the input to the transfer switch and you have one line that has 120VAC at the generator but only 37VAC coming into the transfer switch, correct? I have no idea where or why there would be any other connections. My only current thought would be to unplug and kill all the power and then take an ohm reading on that line to see how much resistance there is. If there is no resistance, then there must be a loose connection at one end or the other but I'm sure that you already checked for that. Sorry I can't be of more help.
