I had several replies last time but most people were in Colorado or the Pacific Northwest and I never got around to going out that far... until now! Is anyone located along the northern/I-90 corridor or Colorado/Wyoming/Montana/Idaho/Washington that has the standard Silverleaf couch/sofa and would like a free trade for the recliner/theater seats? They're still in perfect condition. Please let me know!Re: Trading my Eagle Cap 1160 Theater Seating for Std Couch/SofaDang. I still want the Silverleaf couch and I'm still willing to trade my theater/recliner seats, but I'm in North Carolina! :(Re: Trading my Eagle Cap 1160 Theater Seating for Std Couch/SofaFunny I was just talking to a family member about this today. I'm still interested in the trade. Where are you located?Re: How can you use a dually chuck with a portable tire inflatorThanks everyone for their advice. I ended up buying the 1/4 npt adapter seen here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002V4Q4I/ref=pe_385040_30332190_TE_3p_M3T1_ST1_dp_1How can you use a dually chuck with a portable tire inflatorHi guys - I have a RAM 3500 Dually that I carry my RV with and I want to carry a portable power pack/air compressor so that I can inflate/deflate my tires for use on the sand (and to generally have around in case of an emergency). The problem is that I can't reach the inner stem without a dually extension chuck like this one , but the chuck uses a 1/4" NPT thread (female) and all of the portable air compressors use a standard car/bicycle-style shrader connector like this: I have no idea what I need to go from the car/bicycle-style shrader connector to the 1/4" NPT dually chuck or what to search for. And no, I don't want to replace the stems on the tires (that's what the chuck is for). Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance for any tips.Re: Trading my Eagle Cap 1160 Theater Seating for Std Couch/SofaThanks for the tip 3 tons! Jfet if I end up buying a couch instead of doing a trade then I'll post the theater seating for sale. In the mean time you could try calling Eagle Cap and asking them who makes their furniture.Re: Trading my Eagle Cap 1160 Theater Seating for Std Couch/Sofajimh do you think La-z-boy (or any furniture store) makes one that would be a good fit though? I'm assuming it's a rather unique size but I could be wrong.Re: Trading my Eagle Cap 1160 Theater Seating for Std Couch/SofaThanks wnjj I sent him a PM.Trading my Eagle Cap 1160 Theater Seating for Std Couch/SofaHi everyone, I'm about to purchase a 2014 Eagle Cap 1160 and unfortunately (for me) all of the ones in stock across the country all have the new upgraded Theater Seating (dual recliners). Most people love them but I really just want the traditional couch/sofa. I could always custom order an 1160 without the upgrade but I really don't want to wait that long. Would anyone be interested in swapping your couch/sofa for my new upgraded theater seating? I'm pretty sure it's the exact same size/dimensions as the sofa in the 1160 and 1165 but we could call Eagle Cap to verify. I wouldn't ask any $$ for the upgraded theater seating since you'd be doing me a favor but I do ask that the sofa be in great condition (preferably from a 2013 or 2014). Oh and the decor is Silver Leaf so your couch/sofa would need to be Silver Leaf as well. Please send me a message if you'd be interested! Thanks.Re: Any haulers with 20 foot cargo length?Cyclone has a new model, CY 3418, with full actual 18' garage (not 17.5' like the 4018), but I don't like the layout. No couch, no table. Just two swivel chairs. Funny you mention TCs. I've been looking at truck campers myself, such as the Lance, Adventurer, Ascent, etc. I have a RAM 3500 Dually so I'm not worried about weight. What's fascinating though is that some truck campers actually have MORE features than the gigantic 5th wheel toy haulers! Both have queen beds, places for your clothes, kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator), drawers, full bathroom (even with separate tub in a lot of truck campers), couch/booth/dinette, etc. In fact, some of the larger truck campers even have both a booth/dinette AND a separate couch with pull-down bunkbeds over them as well. But 5th wheel toy haulers, despite being so much bigger, don't seem to add any more counter space, more seating options, or more surface/table space. The closets and refrigerator might be bigger, there there might be more storage space, but most of the additional square footage seems to be spent on hallways and the ability to walk around the bedroom. Personally I'd rather the bedrooms in the toy haulers were kept small & cozy, and let me use the additional room for a nice big dinette/table and a big reclining sofa. Maybe even a coffee table and a 60" TV or something to make it feel like a real "home". Maybe I'm unique but I really don't need all that walking space around the bed (I don't mind if gal climbs over me ;)) and I think open floor space is wasted space. Honestly the only benefit I can see to a toy hauler vs. a truck camper + utility trailer is that you can use the garage as an actual workspace/livingspace when your toy is not in it. Also you can boondock for much longer in a toy hauler due to the larger tanks. I think I'll wait until I'm ready to be a full-timer before I get an actual toy hauler, and in the mean time I'm thinking of just getting a truck camper + enclosed utility trailer. I need to find a truck camper to go visit though so I can check out all the models since nobody around where I live sells them (they don't sell the toy haulers either).
