I have reworked a 94 P-30 chassis and a 2000 f53 chassis for the right front lean. Spring shop added an additional leaf on both rear leaf springs and that fixed the lean on both motorhomes. Let us know what you end up doing to fix the issue.Re: Best way to sell a Class A howardwheeler wrote: Excuse my ignorance, but I've never sold on Craigslist, but I thought they were all very localized. If you advertised in Dallas, say, then your ad only shows up in Dallas. Is this correct, or can you do it in such a way as to reach a broader locale? Just sold mine on Craigslist Saturday 5/5 to a guy in Houston. Was advertised in Dallas but I got calls from Texarkana, Mississippi, Colorado.Re: Looking for new insuranceAgree with others..Shop First and then Switch companies. Allstate did the same to us with no really good reason. When we called to cancel they said they were surprised we had not cancelled earlier. Said call us back in 12 months and we can probably match your new rate. Insurance has gotten just like DirecTV and Dish and the power companies here in Texas. Switch every chance you get and you will way ahead on savings. And no...you are not going to get cancelled by bouncing back and forth. Shareholders need your money.Re: Microwave doesn't work on the genny....Maybe one of the breakers on the genny tripped. Most have 2 breaker switches on the side of the generator.Re: Narrowing down my search for a Class A gasserWe also are currently looking at newer models wanting 2, 3 or 4 slides. The HR Vactioneer 35P and Bounder 35P floorplans looked great until we saw both last weekend. With the opposing living area slides in you have very little aisle space, would be difficult to access anything without stopping and running at least one out. We are now searching for 1 slide in the living area and 1 or 2 in the bath bedroom area. Really like the Allegro 32SA so far. Has the maximum space with front slide in that we have been able to find in a 2017-2018 model in any brand that also has adequate kitchen storage space. I now know why nobody posts pictures with the slides in. Sure would have saved me some time. Good luck on your search and let us know what you find.Re: Class A gas - fiberglass roof? Who uses them?Just looked at a new Fleetwood Bounder and Holiday Rambler Vacationeer Friday and they both have the TPO roof material. New Tiffin Allegro’s have a one piece fiberglass roof. You can download the brochures of the models you want to look at and they will list the roof materials in the specification section. You may have to dive deeper in their website sometimes. Tiffin has a short roof construction video showing the fiberglass manufacturing.Anyone own a newer Bounder or Vacationeer with the L SofaAnyone own a newer Bounder or Vacationeer with the L Sofa. Other brands may have them as well. Looking at some newer units to upgrade our 2000 Gasser and wanted to see if I could find any real world experience with the newer L sofas. Having a hard time finding many that have the true sofa bed with a mattress. Appreciate any input you have on these.Re: generator issueYou didn't say how old your 5000 was but I have had the same experience on my 2000 Onan 5500. Problem showed up in summer heat, would run great on the road for an hour or two and shut down. Cool off an hour or so and it would run again. Certainly appeared to some sort of fuel pump issue in the heat. Turns out it was the fuel line leaking air coming from the main tank. It is an easy check to disconnect the fuel line at the pump and replace with a short hose dropped in a gas can. Mine ran in the driveway for 6 hours in 100 degree heat and never shut down. I replaced all rubber hose and metal hose sections with a new one piece heavy duty fuel hose and my problem was fixed. No issues 4 years later. Cheap test and fix. Certainly can test the fuel pump as well, and that could be it, but if its the fuel line a new pump won't help.Re: Onan 5000 not getting fuel enblethen wrote: You could attach a hose to the inside of pump into gas can to see if it picks up fuel. You could use this to fire up the genset to insure pump is providing sufficient fuel. X2, This is how I determined that my fuel line from the tank was deteriorated and my fuel pump was good.Re: RV rear door not closing without extreme assistance.Door/hinges could just be sagging due to age. Look and see if the latch mechanism in the door is still aligned with the latch post on the door frame. May just need to loosen and move the latch post down to re-align. Doesn't raise the door back up but will make it easy to catch and latch.
