Michelin Tire pressures 235/80 R22.5 XRV
Currently running 90lbs in front and 100lbs in rear on F53 chassis class a. Checking Michelin tire charts and talked to customer service they recommend 80 front and 90 rear. Many people in different forums talk about the improved ride. They never say what improved. These folks are in Cottondale AL about 35 miles west of B-ham about 3/4 mile from interstate 20/59. They have not worked on my trailer personally but several camping friends have used them and are very happy with they work. Currently using EEZ-Tire system on my Passport for 2 years. Recommend by my mechanic who has installed them on numerous fleet vehicles and several motorhomes. Easy setup and usually shows within 1/2 pd of air on monitor and digital air compressor I use. Had to replace battery on one of the sensors. Mike, I can only comment for I65 from Nashville to south of B-ham. You will encounter a lot of traffic in N-ville so you probably want to come thru after morning rush. Once you clear there you will have limited traffic going south. Make sure to stop at AL welcome center as they have an original Saturn 5 rocket set up. As you enter B-ham there is a lot of construction at the I65, I20, I59 interchange. If you get thru here before 3pm you should not be in bumper to bumper traffic. If you come thru this area at night they are doing some lane closures. Once you get south of B-ham you should have smooth sailing. I would suggest you check with any local RV dealers or body shops. They can tell you which insurance companies they have worked with. Most body shops want their money without a lot of issues. We have been a deluxe member for several years and already getting the .05 discount with the Pilot/FJ card. Will this discount increase? If not what is the benefit to maintain deluxe membership versus just being a regular member. Most of our travels thru the south we have found Pilot to be cheaper (using discount) with just a few exceptions.
