Sorry for the confusion my wife has been talking with them. Yes it is Happay Daze in Sacramento. And Phil the Rep suggested Happy Daze. And Wade Tiffin service manager says has to come back to Red Bay if we want it done right. Tiffin is the last one to work on the roof. When you say 'roof caps' do you mean the radius portions of the roof, with the installation of aluminum roof rails? Or are you saying the entire roof was replaced by a Tiffin repair center? I'm not saying it's impossible for a repair center to do a complete roof replacement, but I have been a member of the Tiffin forum for almost 8 years, and I never heard of that being done anywhere but at Red Bay. Could you clarify just what work was done and who did it? The rails were replaced with aluminum at Rupert's auto body in Carson handled by Tiffin. Then rain was coming in though light fixtures wall panels came loose and Tiffin came and took it back to Red Bay 1 month of repairs to roof and panels inside. We have talked with Phil that suggested Lazy Days in Sacramento for repair. But I also have Wade in service saying no dealer can do it right must come back. I was hoping someone had the work done. Because this unit is OUT of warranty by 7 years. Tiffin can fix it cheaper than paying a dealer to do it. Besides, Tiffin owes this customer nothing after 7 years. So, if you need Goodwill, go to the factory where they have the parts available. Doug Just for the record I purchased this MH new around 2010 so no it's not out of warrantee 7 years. And Tiffin says directly the dealer won't do it right it has to come back to factory. I don't know where you came up with this cost thing. And at no point did I say Tiffin owed me anything or expect it. I posted asking if anyone has had this issue fix outside the factory on the west coast. Never understood why these issues have to go to Red bay. Won't Tiffin honor work at a dealer like every other manufacturer does? I hear a lot of good about Tiffin as far as customer service, but it sounds more like customer inconvenience. Yes this is a major problem, dealer support has been a disater a Tiffin repair center replaced the original roof and first rain we had water coming through the light fixtures. Minor problems they can fix anything major my personal experience is they can't. I would know first 3 summers were lost having this thing repaired. And when Tiffin tells me directly the dealer can't fix this ceiling issue I believe them. Seriously, you really think it will cost $6600 to go from Nevada to Red Bay Alabama????????? Doug Yes that's what Tiffin wants $1.50 per mile 4400 miles round trip. If I could take a month off work I would. That's why I need somewhere close to get it fixed. I have 2008 32LA Allegro Tiffin. The Ceiling panels are falling down. Contacted Tiffin service says it has to go back to the factory to be done right? Has anyone had this work done at a dealer on the west coast? History the coach went to Tiffin 4 years ago to replace roof caps water was leaking into coach Tiffin pick up the coach and returned it no charge from Nevada to Alabama. Service guy now says they use furniture glue to hold the panels in place and they must have not used enough and they would add more supports to glue panels. $6600 just to get it to Alabama plus charges to fix problems they made so anyone know of a dealer that has done this work I can trust?10KViews0likes28Comments
