The Sway Pro hands down is the winner IMO easier to hook up, Quieter, and the towing experience no matter the type road, speed , or traffic has been so much more enjoyable. I do not tow over 65 mph so for those that tow faster then that can not give a true evaluation for that. Highly recommend it!!Re: Virginia Beach Virginia to Vermont recommendationsThank you all for the responses so far. A lot of good information demoon sounds like you go by my house in Virginia Beach and I think the part I was missing was the Garden State Parkway to Tappan Zee Bridge. Okay next question I used to only have a Pop up or Hybrid which was not good for stopping at a rest hour for a few hours since it required set up...Have you stopped in Rest Areas for 2 or 3 hours to catch a little nap with out issue or do you pull into Walmarts or Big box Parking lots Like Lowes or HQ to take a few hour Siesta . I am a night driver so most likely will drive about Midnight until 6 or 7 am get breakfast and then would like to take a little rest until rush hour traffic is over around 11:00 and then continue on until suppertime take a few hours rest and continue until destination. My rest breaks most likely would be during day light hours ...Thought recommendations!!??Virginia Beach Virginia to Vermont recommendationsHave been camping for over 10 years but never have gone farther then 200 miles from the house and have had a blast. This year over the July 4th weekend I plan on going from Virginia Beach to Hampton Beach, NH to Lake Champlain Islands in Vermont via Franconia Notch, NH and then back South to Virginia Beach. I have a 37 foot travel trailer and I am looking for recommended routes and recommended places to stay. Although I grew up, up north have not been up in over 20 years and still remember those 1 lane railroad trestles and covered bridges that are pretty to see but not when you are over height and almost 60 foot long total. Any insight or recommendations would be highly appreciated. As a side not I am a 1000 Trails member and any recommended TT or Encore Campgrounds along the way would be a bonus. Thanks and see you around the campfire!!Re: Leak in brand new TTI would expect the leak is coming in thru the marker lights on the front of the trailer. 9 times out of 10 they did not seal around where the wires entire the trailer by the light. Would never the less take it back to the RV dealer and have them replace all any damaged particle board in the cabinet.Re: Electric Heater Recommendations? It is currently 24 degrees out and my oil filled heater is keeping my 35 foot a comfortable 68 degrees. I like them and feel safe running them when I am not in the RV. The ceramic heater puts off quick close up heat but would not feel safe leaving it on and not being in the RV.Re: Help finding the right TT model kfp673 wrote: Rescue16 wrote: Keystone Cougar 32RBK is what I have and meets all your requirements. Have had for almost 2 years and love ours!! Also a very nice unit! but I think it may be too heavy. I am seeing 7500 dry. I want to keep the fully loaded (minus water) weight to under 8k for sure and I'm not sure I could do that with the cougar. Do you have an accurate weight of yours? Really looks nice! Well after driving it over the scales you are correct do not think it will work for you loaded for camping with 1/4 tank of fresh water and both gray water and black water tanks empty I was a 9118 lbsStanding on Slide outDid a search for standing on slide out and came up with nothing so here goes. I would like to use my 8 Foot step ladder to help me get on the roof of my Travel Trailer. My plan is to step on the slide out from the ladder then climb up on the roof. Is my 220 lbs going to mess up the slide out if I step on to it when it is all the way out to get on the roof??Re: What do I need to know about electric awnings?Mine has the Auto Dump feature that when enough water is on it, the awning tilts to one side and dumps the water which I might add can be chilling experience if you are standing in the wrong place when it happens.Re: Help finding the right TT modelKeystone Cougar 32RBK is what I have and meets all your requirements.
