This is the one showing DC not in thermostat This is the one actually in the unit and true to conditions Again the problem is that all the thermostats I’ve been finding for this model only have 2 pins w/ ground while the one I have has 4 pinsRe: Dometic fridge help. Please!!!Hello and thank you in advance. I have a Dometic RM2453 fridge made for LP, DC, AC. Was not working in DC or AC, diagnosed it to 100% certainty to the thermostat. Here’s the problem. The diagram shows LP, AC,DC all running through the thermostat. Total of 4 pins coming out of the thermostat (5 with the ground). No problem there. went online ordered a thermostat for this model number but it only came with 2 pins for AC plus the ground. And this seems to be the all the thermostats for this model. Upon further investigation, I found other diagrams for this exact model where DC goes to selector knob and then directly to the battery (no thermostat connected). This is where I’m confused. I would rather find the right thermostat with 4 pins w/ground and connect it per diagram but if this is all there is and they are all 2 pin w/ground then to just wire the 12v separate of thermostatRe: Extension Hitch QuestionThank you all for the great advice. I hear the ones saying that I can easily roll with the 2" hitch with either a custom-made extension or just the off-the-shelf extension. I appreciate that advice as well and will honestly consider it just as much as the 2.5" hitch w/ the 24-36" extension. Thank you for the help, the time and energyRe: Extension Hitch Question mkirsch wrote: We've already gone down the torklift rabbit hole in the previous thread. OP doesn't want to spend the money, and really, probably doesn't need to for what they want to tow NOW. That is, pulling a 3500lb trailer with a 600lb tongue weight. That's fine. If there was a RATED extension available for their 2" receiver, that's probably all they need. No such thing exists. No 2" extensions on the market are rated for more than 3500lbs, period. Upgrading to a 2-1/2" receiver and getting the RATED extension is a good middle of the road solution. OP doesn't trust their own engineering ability and wants to keep within ratings. There is nothing wrong with that. Throwing caution to the wind isn't for everyone. Thank you! this is exactly what I feel is a happy middle-of-the-road solution.Re: Ford F-250 Hitch compatibiltyRJ tractor-agree just going to look for a new one. Thanks for the responseRe: Ford F-250 Hitch compatibiltyHelpFord F-250 Hitch compatibiltyHello, I have to upgrade from a 2" to a 2.5" hitch for my 2003 F-250 so I can buy the right hitch extension. I'm looking for an OEM used hitch, does anyone know what years were compatible? Has been hard to find out on the internet. Some after market hitches say 99-23 but thats for after market. I see others possibly saying 99-2015 and 2016-2023. Any help would be appreciated
