Arctic Fox 990Check out the website www.delamrepair.com. They are a company called Composet Products and have a good fix for delamination. Lots of videos and answers. We used one of their kits with great results. here is one video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jboJ-A8z75YRe: Proflex Bright White CaulkThere are basically 2 types of caulks. The first type is solvent-based and they dry through evaporation which leads to shrinking and cracking. These caulks can be identified by looking at the ingredients which include the typical aromatic solvents. The other group are reactive chemistries that cure through a chemical reaction. Silicone and Urethane are in this category. These generally perform way better that solvent-based products. Sikaflex is the best in my opinion. Too much to cover here. A good place for more info is the FAQ page at www.delamrepair.comRe: Delamination and water damage repair with epoxyThanks for the nice comments.Delamination and water damage repair with epoxyFinished up some pretty serious delamination repair. I went with Composet SLV and it worked excellent. I think it is much better than West, which didn't seem to last of a previous repair. Plus the Composet people did a good job in walking us through the process. More expensive yes, but still a fair price given the alternative. The problems all started in the running lights, 4 out of 5 where leaking. Fixed the delam, replaced the lights and gaskets, then caulked with Sikaflex that I got from them. For reference the website is www.delamrepair.com. So bottom line is West might be okay but the Composet SLV is the right choice.
