Not sure how similar they are to a Montana but might give you an idea of how Keystone lays out a gas genny on their fifth wheels if you wanted to go that direction. I have a built-in gas Onan 5500 on my toy hauler with push button start and it works well for the situations you describe. Only issue is I am on my 3rd carb. I do use Stabil and still get issues (genny shutting down under load, won't start, surging, various codes, etc.). Search "Onan problems" on here and you'll get lots of hits and most of these problems are with gas models and can be remedied with a carb swap. The carb is actually very easy to change out in about 15 minutes at a cost of around $300 (Amazon). I installed a fuel line shutoff after my most recent carb swap and run the carb dry for storage so hopefully that will help.Re: Converting my dully to a 10 wheel drive to handle ToyhaulerNice to see something so unique for a change. Good luck with the project.Re: Complete List of Toy HaulersLooks like the KZ Escalade Sportster and New Vision are both gone from the KZ website.Re: Complete List of Toy HaulersI was over on the CrossRoads website tonite and noticed that the CrossRoads CrossTerrain, CrossFire & CrossForce have all been removed from the product list. It seems that they've all been discontinued. Looks like CrossRoads is out of the Toy Hauler business for now.Re: RV Fuel Issues & Prices - Post 'Em Here! Quite the opposite... Where do you think all of those Chinese-made goods get sold? Right here in the headed-for-recession western world. The oil market is currently pricing in decreased forecasted demand for oil in China based on new developments in the health of the world economy. Why aren't the pipeline bombings, Nigerian gunboats, and 5 billion oil-hungry Chinese driving the price into oblivion now? Nothing has changed with respect to those supposed "causes" put forth by the media outlets but yet the price of oil has been almost cut in half. You have witnessed a speculative bubble just like any other.Re: RV Fuel Issues & Prices - Post 'Em Here! With oil closing at $87/barrel today down from a high of $147, it looks like it might not be a full two years to get back to $60 after all. Only $27 to go.Re: RV Fuel Issues & Prices - Post 'Em Here! nickthehunter wrote: TF36DSMatt - Is there some point to your charts? If there is, I'm not getting it? The point is that this is looking more like a temporary bubble than the supply and demand changes that the media would like us to belive. I saw a "news" piece on Fox this morning showing Nigerian militants shooting off RPGs and had to laugh. Of course, the kidnappings in that part of the world are not a laughing matter but this was a "made for TV" piece designed to instill fear. In my opinion, an entertainment piece. Terrorism against oil supply lines is not new and would not cause a splke of this magnitude. Draw your own conclusions from the data but personally I would not be suprised to see $60 oil within 2 years.Re: RV Fuel Issues & Prices - Post 'Em Here!Does this chart look sustainable? Re: RV Fuel Issues & Prices - Post 'Em Here!Business Week Article U.S. oil company executives told the Senate Judiciary Committee that oil prices whould be between $35 and $90 a barrel if they were based on production costs and supply and demand "Performance-chasing financial inflows to commodities cause prices to rise, thus delivering good performance, and attracting even more inflows," Lehman Brothers (LEH) analyst Edward Morse wrote in a May 16 report, Is It a Bubble? "We used to ignore inventory reports, but now they're a matter of life and death," Beutel says. "Now anything can move prices. I'm convinced that if my lawnmower leaked a few drops of oil it would generate buying." Re: RV Fuel Issues & Prices - Post 'Em Here! Are commodities now following the same course as the housing market?
