Thanks for your informative replies. I was thinking in the same direction for a solution. The folks we bought it from used the method I described and I didn't think that to be a real solution. We recently acquired a near new Coachmen Mirada. Took it on a long trip and loved it except for the attaching and detaching the waste hose. It requires one to detach the coupler, thread it thru a pipe, reattach the coupler and then attach it to the dump valve. And of course you have to reverse this cumbersome procedure when one gets done.Has anyone dealt with this? Any suggestions on how to fix this?
