Owners of Dodge based RV's? stabbin cabin wrote: i need to replace my Aqua Magic IV toilet, Hey Stabbin....I replaced my IV also with the V. All the hook ups, hose conns amd mounts are the same,(on mine) I had no trouble. There are 2 sizes though, watch if you need/want/can use the taller one. I had to stick with the lower one, because of a cabinet mounted on the wall behind it. As for the foot flush, I went with what I had (turn handle), because the foot peddle would not fit with my toilet, as it is mounted on a raised shelf. I would prefer the foot peddle, if it fits, I'd go for it. Everything you need to install the toilet comes with it, however I extended my water inlet hose for easier access. Hopes this helps.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?Ahhh the Old Slant SIX. What a beauty that was..:) I had a '66 Valiant and a Duster with one. Best thing about it is YOU COULD WORK ON THE DARN THING! Pull the head in 20 min., Oil Pan in the same. Rebuild the sucker in 2 days....(Only waiting on the head) Oh the Good Ole Days!!! Drove many of the Power Wagons the Military used them in too. Great Machines. Thanks all, for the great Memories......:BRe: How many of us are there? Question #2 - Depends on what you need, Chassis or for the RV itself. Nothing like the memories, your going to obtain. If you read through the existing posts, you'll see that your going to Laugh, Cry, probably work hard on it and at times, wish ya never saw it! End up putting more $$$ and time into it then you think it's worth. But in the end, when your on the road with Family, Friends, doing what it was meant for, you'll think it was worth every busted knuckle! AND it's a Mopar, how can ya go wrong!!! I myself have a 1977 Chinook with a 360 chassis. Paid too much, put a lot of work into it, had a few scary ordeals with it, but just the few trips I've taken since I bought it in July, it's paid for itself. Me and my 2 boys can travel in and go places in it like we never believed! You'll find lots of moral support here, and information you'll not obtain anywhere else I assure you. Fine group of folks here, your about to find out. Enjoy your stay and I will dig up some web addresses of some places I have found parts and post them later.Re: How many of us are there? Dad was in Seattle, Uncle Bob moved to Phoenix and they spent hours talking. Dad built this shack in the back yard...And man was he PROUD of this TOWER, when he finally got it! Here are pictures of his Radio Shack he built and his "Rig". Half of it is Heath Kit, self built. Just an FYI, and Thanks for bringing these nice memories back.......:) P.S. Biggerhammer, this could be a problem starting this with all that old gas?:E I hope the DPO...LOL, had stabil or something in the gas? I'd start by cleaning that out, hassle, but will save you TONS of problems down the road. I have the 360 chassis on my Chinook, 1977. Not sure if you have a manual, but if you need some pics of pages for an aide, let me know, I can scan and send to you for those missing brackets and stuff. Funny how you mentioned that transmission banging right into gear, mine does the same, not a hair of slippage. I thought PO had put a shift kit in it or something when he rebuilt it? Sounds like ya got a good handle on it, and a $500 well spent. :) Clean that Gas tank out............I don't think you'll be sorry. Gary Webb Phoenix, AZRe: How many of us are there?
