I'm really not much of a DPDT switch type of guy. I think I'll wait for my very busy repair guy to come through and I'll stick to things I do well.Re: Rear Slide Control Board diedGood for you, glad you found it. I'll still post my mobile repair guys switch when he gets around to making it up here. May be of value to some future slide owner. Happy camping.Re: Rear Slide Control Board diedJust talked to Chris at M&M Electronics, very nice gentleman. He said there would be a very reasonable test fee of $95. If it was repairable it would be $1250... The way I see it is if my mobile guy can't do the double switch, then for $1250 I should be able to hire 2 people to manually extend and retract my slider every time I need it done for the next 20 years. Results may be different for you. My part number is Kwikee 1802930. Good luck out there and I still plan to do a follow up when my guy gets here. Happy HolidaysRe: Rear Slide Control Board diedStill waiting on my mobile repair guy to make me that switch for the slide controler. In the mean time I did also call Winnebago.com (thanks for the tip olfarmer) and they referred me to M&M RV electronics. It was suggested by Winnebago that they repair older controllers. I left a message and will post if and when I hear back from them. Their # is 419-965-2662. Let them know you were referred by Winnebago parts.Re: Rear Slide Control Board diedHi Spinners. I just went through the same thing looking for a slide controller for my 2004 Minnie. My mobile repair guy said I'd be lucky to find one, I didn't. He said he could build me a double on off switch to make it work. He did bypass the controller just to make sure the slide motors were good and they were. When he comes back I'll take some pics of what he comes up with. I think he will use the old controller and just jump around it somehow. PM me if you'd like some pics of his work/switch. He made it sound pretty simple.Re: help furnace againSame problem. Turned out to be a gnat in the orifice. Twice, found by 2 different rv repair places 3 years apart. Suspected slow leak attracting gnats. I know sounds crazy to me too.Slide problemAfter doing a short search here I thought it would save a few rabbit holes to just ask the question. I have a 2004 Minnie Winnie 32C. Have had it a few years with no slide issues, used it last night and it came in as usual. We stopped for breakfast at a rest area and were on a pretty good slope 10 degrees maybe. When I went to extend the slide it started then immediately stopped and I got a flashing light. After getting home I tried it on a level surface and still no go. Looked at the DigiSync Winnebago Room Slide System operation guide and it shows a slightly different style in the picture but I think it's close. The trouble shooting says that a flashing light denotes an error and mine is flashing 12 times. Which is No encoder signal detected on rear actuator. Has anyone here dealt with this problem before that's still on this forum? Also I've tried to open the small doors that are over the ends of the ball screw on the side of the motorhome to try to manually extend the slide. I can't even figure out how to get the little doors off of the side of the motorhome. No key, and I can't see how they open. I would appreciate any help you are willing to share. ThanksRe: Rough engine start on a 2000 Ford Triton V10I had a similar problem with my 2005 v-10 class C. My local mechanic did a house call for me and found a huge mouse house in the air intake pipes. He cleaned it out and had me install a mesh screen at the intake right next to the hood release just above the radiator. Haven't had the problem since. A couple of years later he found the same thing in my newer Promaster Van. **** mice.Re: Storing my Travel TrailerI used to fill a small burlap sack with a few pounds of calcium chloride (the stuff used in the dri z air product) then set it on a wire mesh screen over a bucket. We were living a half mile from the beach in Washington where it's very damp in the winter. Only problem was having to empty the bucket every month or so. We also left a 12" fan running all winter. You can find it cheap in 50 pound bags from your local cement mix plant or a tractor dealer. They use it as weight in the tires for tractors and the cement plants use it to dry the concrete faster.Re: Class C Tire Load RatingsDon't forget to get new stems, metal if possible. I had a new tire go flat while on a trip because I never thought to replace the old stems while putting new tires on my Class C that was new to me.
