Cold Weather Camping
Hey everybody! We currently live in SW Florida full-time in our 2022 Thor ACE model 29.5 (Class A). We've only been in it for about a 1 - 1/2 months so far (hurricanes caused us to buy it and move in very quickly) so we are still figuring things out as we go. We'd like to take it up to see family (Connecticut, Pennsylvania, & Indianna) for about two weeks over Christmas so the pets can tag along. We will probably sleep in it at the first stop (2-3 days) but will still have access to the family house for water, power, etc. The next two stops we'll probably close it up as those houses have a bit more space. We could probably get a 30amp hookup at each place if needed. Our unit has the black and grey tank heaters already installed. Is there anything specific that we should check or plan for (i.e. wrap pipes in extra installation?)?205Views0likes1Comment
