you know that the RV industry is in a boom now. Wouldn't it be great if a company slowed down and hand craft RVs. Ones that they would stand behind for five years. They would cost more, would we buy them? Anyway as if you don't know this already QC is not high own anybody's list, from production to sales, in this industry. thanks everybody for your comments. Dick_b you are right about minds changing. It would be cheaper to put them up in a cabin the few times they go. These would be mainly the adults. there is a reason I went with this size trailer (30 ft), and sometimes i have to get reminded. If i knew that it would be just DW and me I'd go smaller. Well we just got back from another great trip to a Texas state park. Now the family wants to start going with us. (this a great thing for me) But we are thinking about upgrading to a larger trailer possibly 35-37 ft. So the questions to you guys is do you have trouble towing thru cities? Seems like every direction go I've got to go thru one. So you'll know we have a 2500hd gasser and propride. We have a 30 ft trailer now. It just seems like I'm competing with the 18 wheels for space on the road.LOL Also I hope to go on longer trips this summer Fla. or Colorado. This is one of the reasons I travel in a R.V. of some kind. I may trade to a different kind of trailer or vehicle but I just can't go back to hotels. we just bought new TT. Dealer wanted to charge me $ 2750 I said no. At closing they they had a special deal for $1500. I bought but had 60 days to get a refund if I changed my mind. I did change my mind ask for my money back, after several "put thrus" to the next higher up finally I got a person to email form for refund. It's been a week, I'll call again next week. We just stayed at Blazing Star not a state park in SA. We had a great time. But, a great state park north west of SA in Guadalupe SP. Beautiful place I want to go back there. On the coast is Mustang island state park right on the beach( there's a sand dune you have to cross on the board walk) I like it also. Texas has some of the best state parks. yillb I'll be interested in how things are going for you with your trailer. We just bought a MPG from the same in Waco. only been out two nights so far. The reason I went with the Waco store is I have friends who have bought there and warranty issues was settled quickly. They were very happy and recommended them. Ok I just came across this thread, and must say i've looked at class b for a year. DW talk me into a small tt but I still long to travel in simplicity that seems to come in a class B. We watch u tube of folks who travel in class b's and it looks so fun and easy and spur of the moment. Lots of times we don't get to plan trips just get in and go. Today's diesel engines are a modern marvel with the power that they have. Unfortunately with all the emissions control that is basically muted. I just bought a new 2500hd gas. Does it have the power as diesels? Far from it. But when i see that the gas engines are rarely in the shop, this outweighs that the diesel engines.
