Both our motor home and older tow are 2003 and they could use some help!Foggy headlightsDoes anyone know of a spray cleaner that will take away the "fog" on older headlights? We were in Las Vegas at Circus Circus last fall and while we were trying to set up a guy pulled up and offered to clean our foggy headlights for $150. I don't like giving in to unsolicited people so he offered to clean one light and almost a year later it still looks good. I would love to find this. He just sprayed it on, waited a minute, wiped it off. Then he sprayed something else over it after. He said it was very expensive and that's why he was charging so much. So now we have one headlight foggy, one clear and a 2003 Honda that could benefit. We've done the commercial cleaners that you have to buff and even toothpaste. This was by far the best and with little effort. Any suggestions?Re: 2014 CRVWe have a 2003 Honda CR-V with over 165,000 miles and all we do is run it through the gears as recommended and make sure everything is off. We always start it up for a few minutes at rest areas every 4 hours if we will be towing a long day. We never had a problem until the car was maybe 8 years old. It was dead every time. It was then that we realized we were still on the original battery ??. Once we replaced it we were back in business again, no problems since. Now my husband is working on setting up our 2003 CR-V for towing.Re: Speedometer and gas tank level not workingThanks NMDriver, I'll check that out. SprinkFitter, when I said level, I meant that we don't know how much gas we have.Speedometer and gas tank level not workingWe have a 36 ft 2003 Southwind on a Workhorse chassis and our speedometer quit working when we started out on our trip. Now we filled up the gas tank and it shows half a tank. The information on the panel is very hard to read, can't sometimes even tell what gear we are in and we can't read our mileage. Anyone else having the same issues? Someone once said there was a recall on the dash cluster panel but we can't find anything. Any ideas???Ironman Tires, pros and cons for 36' motorhomeWe are in need of replacing our motorhome tires and have been making some calls. One dealer recommended Ironman and now we have 245/70R19.5G. We were told they put them on a lot of motorhomes and they are a 16 ply tire. He said at that size they are all truck tires. But we've heard that you don't want truck tires because they are a very hard ride. Has anyone bought these tires? Any good nput would be appreciated.
