just wanted to get a feel for different size engines gear ratiios etc. in ford or gm... i understand that payload is a factor that will play a part in my decision.. thanks all and if any one has anything to add i would appreciate all info i can get.

I'm buying a 25 ft trailer(exterior length), 5000lb dry weight. Looking at used trucks .. any recommendations .. engine size and gear ratio.. may steer away from dodge as i heard bad things on suspension issues.

I am pulling 35 ft fifth wheel from florida to maine... should i stay on I 95 .. are there suggestions out there for bypassing NYC and other places like DC?

Re: slide out awning adjustment?
i guess they are slide toppers... awning covers the top when the slide goes out.. when they are dry ( not holding any water) one is tight and does not flap, the other is rather loose and any wind causes lots of flapping
