Completed my first oil change (5 hours of use) on my Homier 4000K blue generator. Glad I did oil was a grey color (normal for break in of new motor). Gave my Homier 3,500 watt generator its first real world test this weekend and it passed with flying colors. It ran our 13.5 AC on our motorhome for about 3 hours on Saturday. The campground we were staying at had no electric sites, and our site didn't have afternoon shade. So it was nice to relax in the AC when it was about 85-90 outside! ;) I have about 4 hours total on my genny, when should I do the first oil change? How often should I change spark plug? I got the Homier tools JD 3,500 watt unit for Christmas. Today it was finally warm enough to test if it would run my 13.5 btu AC on my motorhome. It put out nice cold air on high, then I turn my electric dorm style fridge on and my generator had no problems. Did notice generator rpms pick up when I turn AC from just fan to high AC. I received the same Homier unit for Christmas. My wife and mom paid $299 plus shipping. So you got a good deal! I've only got to play with mine a few times, still winter in Ohio. Ran everything in my camper, but too cold for AC compressor to kick on to give a full test yet. I have the 13.5 btu unit, so I'm anxious to try it out. Starts right up and is not super loud. I recieved a Chinese Generator for Christmas. It is from Homier it is called a 4000 watt, (thats peak output I think). It is blue and has the Jung Dung (sp) 6.5 hp motor. Put .63 quart of oil in it and some gas, turned on the on switch, gas on, choke on and it started on 3rd pull on cold damp day. Turned choke on it ran very smooth. Not that loud, quiter than my mowers. Can carry a conversation standing beside it. When it running outside of camper, cannot hear it with AC on! It has two regular plugs, volt meter and breaker on front. Plugged into my motorhome ran everything. But it was too cold out for my 13.5 AC's compressor to kick-in...the true test.
