I received the same Homier unit for Christmas. My wife and mom paid $299 plus shipping. So you got a good deal! I've only got to play with mine a few times, still winter in Ohio.
Ran everything in my camper, but too cold for AC compressor to kick on to give a full test yet. I have the 13.5 btu unit, so I'm anxious to try it out.
Starts right up and is not super loud.
