I-95 will be a mess this Saturday especially in the DC/ Virginia border area. Been there done that during holiday travels. Done the 13 route before to Virginia beach. Figured I would do it again to avoid the mess. I also take the same route to go to Ocean City Maryland. Taking 95 to Williamsburg Virginia with no traffic is 7 hours from my house. Taking route 13 via the Bay Bridge Tunnel is 7:45 and usually no traffic. I looked up the interstate 81 to 64 route and was close to 9 hours and 100 miles more traveled. Just don't remember about fueling stations along U.S. 13/113. I will stop at the end of the NJ turnpike and fill up but don't think I can make it all the way to Williamsburg without having to refuel.424Views0likes0CommentsNew York to Williamsburg VA
Plan on going from Long Island NY to Williamsburg VA next Saturday and want to avoid the traffic on Interstate 95. Plan on going south on Route 13 through Delaware, Maryland and Virginia using the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Does anyone know if there are truck stops or gas stations large enough for a 44ft long toy hauler??? My RV is also 13 feet 4 inches tall. Thx2.8KViews0likes11Comments
