So my issue where I need a little advice is that two of my 6 hydraulic leveling jacks leak down while in storage. So I parked my RV from my last trip in early May with the back four jack retraced and only the front landing gear extended. I went over to my storage facility yesterday to check on it and the two middle leveling jacks (just forward of the axles) had leaked down. One side had extended about 5 inches and the other side about 2 inches. The jacks in the rear (behind the axles) had not extended. I did a quick inspection (not a detailed on just a quick glance as it was getting dark) and I didn't see any hydraulic fluid leaks. So over the past 7.5 years, that we have had this trailer, I have had to replace every single jack due to fluid leaks and failures. Last January (2022), I had all of the hydraulic lines replaced as they were leaking around the couplers. So with that said, I don't know why this leaking down. Any ideas on how to try to trouble shoot this issue?Scary moment towing my 5er around Denver last weekWe were headed up to Estes Park from southern Colorado when this idiot crosses 4 lanes then comes to dead stop right in front of me. Needless to say it was a "Code Brown" moment. Luckily we missed the fool - and I don't know how but we did. The dashcam caught it all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDcVxW0fs8s Regards.Solidtude 390RKA question for you Grand Design Solitude 390RK owners.... We are considering trading our Heartland 5er for a Grand Design Solitude 390RK-R. We have not been to visit one in person yet for a myriad of reason but I wanted to get some feedback from current owners of that model before we go to the dealership. Can someone post a photo of the inside of the coach -> looking from the door back to the kitchen with the slides IN? I can't see to find a photo of that anywhere. Are you able to control the slides individually? Since the refrigerator and kitchen are all the way in the back (which we think we like), it kinda makes it a little more difficult to stop by the side of the road for quick lunch if you have to run out all the slides. We are not full timers (weekenders trending towards anytimers) so our unit has to sit in a covered storage facility for a few months at a time. Due to size/width restrictions, I have to store my RV with slides IN. On my current 5er, we are able to leave the refrigerator doors open to help with ventilation, mold, sell, etc. Is this even possible with the 390RK? Last question - tell me things you don't like about your 390RK. Thank you. ChrisRe: App or site to plan routeRV Trip Wizard. NOT a route for rvs. Agreed - definitely not an RV route. It was a little tight in places for just my F-350. However a scenic route worth driving if you are in the area.Texas RR 337Below is a link to a dashcam video of a drive from Vanderpool, TX to Leakey, TX via Texas RR 337. Great drive if you are ever in the area - tons of rolling hills and beautiful scenery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KT6xLRYKaWwPalmetto State Park - Gonzales, TexasPalmetto State Park near Gonzales, Texas. A small park with only 18 trailer spots but beautiful and shady. Sites are long so big rigs can easily get in and out.Re: Bryce, UT to Torrey, UTI made a video of part of the drive from my dashcam. Note that it is running 2x normal speed. https://youtu.be/2oiuzAmthvIRe: Bryce, UT to Torrey, UTWe made the drive this morning... Easy peasy - no issues or problems. CO-145 from Delores into Telluride is more intense that Highway 12. Thanks everyone for the advice.Re: Bryce, UT to Torrey, UT GordonThree wrote: Highway 12 (including the ridgeback) is a very nice drive. It's a scenic drive, and there's some decent grades. It's not the route to pick for hauling arse at 80mph. Take the route and take your time. You'll drive past one of Utah's most beautiful state parks; Kodachrome. Also driving through the Grand Staircase. Lots of pull-offs to stop at and soak in the scenery. Sounds like great advice! Thank you.
