My Atwood water heater is an electronic start and all appears fine in that the system goes through the pilot on light for the required time then goes to off with no start. It is as if there is no propane flow. All appears normal except that there is rust and the possibility of a bad ground at the gas flow solenoid. Is there a way to bypass this to check if the solenoid is bad and can I buy a replacement solenoid. It acts as if there is a propane lockout. I have checked the tubing, ports etcNorcold 682 propane lockout?Hi I have a 91 Winnebago on a Ford F53 chassis. My Norcold 682 works fine and cools on AC but I cant get it to function on propane. The 12v appears normal and the fridge goes through the attempt to start. I have made several resets and the board shows LP then the red X after a while. I have gone to LP and back to auto and then several resets. It is like the propane is not flowing. I have removed and cleaned the tubing and checked that there is flow through the orifice but no luck. The unit worked fine on both systems prior to this year and it has not been used for a while. I had this problem in the past and when I used the reset procedure before it always worked. Any thoughts would be appreciated.Re: battery problemUpdate on battery issue: It has been too cold lately to get at it, but next week looks warmer. To fully explain issue: First of all the rv is plugged into the 120v electric and has been for the winter, The coach battery appears to be charged yet I do not have coach power if I unplug the 120v, The main (starter) battery loses charge even while plugged into 120v but will accept a charge from a portable charger when hooked up separately. Both the 5a fuses on either side of the relay are ok, Any suggestions other than already given? SamRe: battery problemI know batteries are charged because I checked them with a meter.Re: battery problemActually when I said batteries I meant the main (start) battery and the coach battery. When I unplug the electric 120 there is no 12vdc or (naturally) 120vdc. Relay in question is in the front engine compartment just above the coach battery which is wired to a relay and it has a 5v fuse on each side of the relay and these are both ok. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the assist.Re: battery problemYes I do have an invertor/convertor. I will check it out. Thanksbattery problemMy coach is up for the winter and I have it plugged into electrical. Both of my batteries appear to be charged however, when I unplug the system there is no coach power. I have checked the fuses on either side of the relay in the front of the unit and they are ok, Any ideas of what the cause may be or how to fix it? The coach is a 91 Winnebago Chieftain.
