It tops our list for now. We are just wondering if there is anything in surrounding states.Re: "Resort" w/in a couple hours of Flint MINo kids just two mid 50s stressed out adults.Re: camping in or near smokey mints npIf you like a resort feel I highly recommend Anchor Down Resort. It overlooks Douglas Lake and is big rig friendly. It is about 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge. It puts you close but keeps you out of the touristy area. The place is practically new. The views are awesome. If you are going in the summer I suggest one of the sites on the top with trees.Re: "Resort" w/in a couple hours of Flint MIThere is not much more to narrow to. The resort feel would include level sites, full hook up,50 amp, and big rig friendly (we have a 40' 5th wheel). We spend a lot of time at the campground but would like a day or two of of touristy stuff to do. We enjoy both natural or tourist traps. The most important thing is that we can bring our own golf cart and a pool."Resort" w/in a couple hours of Flint MIWe are looking for a place to camp with that resort feel for the summer 2016. We would also like a pool. We enjoy lake front sites on all sports lakes. Also a few years ago we stayed in Indiana and drove around in the evening to see deer. We like natural attractions like caves and water falls. The only things we have to have are the pool and cart. TIAMichigan State Park w/ poolI am sure that I saw a post that said a couple of the state parks had a pool. I have been to the dnr site and cannot figure out which they are.
